[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Chronic slow speed | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, This is to lodge a complaint against Tata indicom. We are three colleagues using Tata photon broadband internet service (dongler). Since past 4-5 months the speed of tata photon of the internet has gone down drastically. While calling the customer care, they just try to give script directed technical support without understanding the problem or even openly listening to the exact complaint. If asked to transfer the call to a senior or a manager, its never transferred. Yesterday we had called to complaint against the slow speed, we were assured that we would receive a call but haven't received it till today.If asked to come down and check the speed, they say they will charge us Rs 150 . We want to know if the speed is less, and we have brand new laptops and we ourselves are capable of doing the trouble shooting since we are technically sound people, do we have to pay extra? This is cheating. This is all related to speed which Tata photon promises for upto 3.1 Mbps(Download speed) and upload speed(1.8 Mbps) but which they never provide, not even close. To prove that We have attached the screenshot of the speed test done online for three of our respective devices. As you can see that the upload and download speed is extremely less, less than 0.5 Mbps - it takes 10 mins to open a page completely. If you see the ad of tata photon, it speaks about get speed,get time. But the reality is completely opposite. Should you require, we can send you speed test everyday or twice a day to show you what is provided to the consumer by Tata photon and how they are cheated of their money slowly slowly. We pay Rs 938 every month for 5 GB and the assured speed of atleast upto 3.1 Mbps(Download speed) and upload speed(1.8 Mbps) , but you can see from the attachment the speed provided. We have a valid question, are we getting our money's worth? NO. CERTAINLY NOT. I am not asking for the high speed even though its promised by them, atleast a decent amount of speed which can help us work faster and go back to our families after completing work. Isnt this the promise of deliverance by Tata? We are filing a serious complaint against them. Kindly launch and enquiry against them and do the necessary strict action.
