[Resolved]  Tata Manza — Refusal to Repair Car under Extended warranty

Hi,

I am Kailash Chand Joshi, who purchased Tata manza in December 2010 from one of Tata Motors Dealer - Pawa Motors, GT karnal Road. I bought extended warranty at the time of purchase but the Dealer somehow missed to notify -the same to the company.

I got 3 free services done with the same dealer in 2 years of time. After 2 years when I approached my dealer for the service due. He charged me for the parts which were covered under the extended warranty. I paid and checked my warranty card back. I re-approached the dealer for charging in access, he told me that he missed to inform Tata motors about my extended warranty. I suffered and believed him.

Today on April 25, My vehicle broke down on the road. I called Tata Motors helpline and the crane took my vehicle to pawa motors garage. I was surprised to hear that the dealer does not entertain extended warranty cases. He asked me to take my vehicle to another showroom 5 Kms away. The crane service asked me to Pay Rs 1500 for using the crane service second time.

I am unsure whether the Jahangir Puri Service station will acknowledge my extended warranty when Pawa motors had already failed to provide the extended cover. please let me know whom to approach.
