I ordered at theprivatesales.com (an exclusive by invitation website and supposedly be the best in offering premium brands at discounted price) for a hush puppies shoes with order #[protected] on May 20, 2011 and here is the account of an irresponsible organization lacking the customer centric attitude and victimize their customer everyday open in market. 1. I ordered my shoes on May 20th, 2011 knowing that the Waiting time is end of sale + 14 working days 2. I waited till June 20th and called their customer care center to inquire about the order - they told me that the shoes were ordered and I'll be getting them in a week 3. I again waited for a week and called back on June 27th and got to know that the shoes that ordered were rec'd defected at private sales warehouse and they re-ordered the same and asked me to wait for another week. 4. I gave them time till the end of that week and asked them to refund my amount if they fail to deliver by end of that week 5. After a lot of follow up on mails and calls, private sales initiated the refund process on July 2nd and asked me to wait for 10 working days to get refund. 6. Knowing the waiting period I didnt call them back till July 9th when I got an email about change of status in my order - status changed to invoiced 7. I tried calling their call center but no response due to weekend and I only got to talk to them on July 11th 8. they now tells me that my shoes are rec'd in the warehouse and they are shipping it without giving me any account of what happened to my refund process and the reasoning that these goons were providing me all thru the duration of 2 months. 9. they gave me a lame excuse of communication gap at their end but I asked them to process my refund now. I dont think any prospective buyer would ever go buy anything from private sales after such a pathetic after sales service. For that, Will I have to go to the Court?? What is the procedure and the cost that shall be implied?

First of all please accept our sincere apologies for not delivering the product to you within the delivery time frame, due to unforeseen reasons the consignment from Europe got delayed. Rest assured your order will be shipped by next week. If we fail to deliver the product to you by next week we will immeidately initiate the refund process. We are extremely sorry for the same. If the product is available with us, then for sure we would have delivered your order within the stipulated time frame.
With regards to delay in the order, we will compensate with the reward points and update you accordingly.
Once again regret the inconveniece caused to you.

theprivatesales — Product Not delivered even after the promised 14 working days delivery period
Dear Sir/MadamI had placed an order for an apparel at www.theprivatesales.com on 20 May 2011. The company promises that the product shall be delivered within 14 working days though i haven't received it even after 6 weeks as on 30 Jun 2011. I have been calling their customer care since AT LEAST 3 weeks and each time i was given the false assurance that they have received the product from the manufacturer and that it will be delivered to me by the end of this week. For 3 weeks I had been listening to these excuses. Now, today when I called the customer care, I was told that the shipment got stuck at the customs and so it'll take some more time for delivery.
The product has not been delivered yet and i can see that product again available for sale after around 5 weeks. They haven't delivered the product to the first batch of customers only.
Really ANNOYED WITH THE DELAY AND THE FALSE ASSURANCES !!!
