[Resolved]  Tikona — Disgusting Service/Awful Cust care

I am a new Tikona Broadband customer and got my services activated yesterday (21st Nov 2011). As per my current PLAN-ZMR2999 I should get downloading speed of atleast 200-250kbps but I am just getting 20 Kbps. When I called the customer care, they are not at all helpful, moreover they think the customer is dumb. I myself work in the Telecom industry and understand the technicalities. I had to call the customer care yesterday 4 times consecutively as all my calls were deliberately disconnected as they did not have any solution to my problem.

When I asked to transfer the call to their Supervisor I was told there is no Manager/Supervisor. I fail to understand how TIKONA is running its business. As per them my pc and Laptop is not working properly, as in their system they are showing good speed, how disgusting.

When I asked them to send some technician to my place to check I was told that "Everything is fine from our end, you need to check your pc/Laptop/Firewall yourself"

They are so annoying and their cold attitude will very soon reflect in the downfall of the company.

Tikona Broadband Service — Disgusting service from Tikona

I am customer of Tikona from last 1 year, my account number is [protected].



I am working as sr. software engineer in CGI company in Mumbai and far often I work from home, so I want 24*7 connectivity.



My internet is down from last 3 days and I have called to customer care for around 15-20 times (you can check record to confirm the same). But my problem is not resolved yet, and no one has attend to my complaint L



Every time I am getting same reply from them that within 30 mins you will get call from our technical guy and your problem will be resolved, but I did not get a single call.

I have never seen such a worst service from any of the service provider,



I always thought that government service is always worst, but now I can say every one that TIKONA service is worst than government department.

This is not the happened for first time, first of all whenever we call to customer care of TIKONA, I have to wait for 15 mins to talk to officer,



Yesterday I called customer care from morning 8 to evening 8, every half an hour.

How bad service :(

Please update me if you don't have a solution to my problem then I find some other wayout.
It seems as if I am reading a comment by a 10 year old boy who thinks if the speed is showing up in tikona website implies the customer is getting that speed, but let me correct you thats not the case. I am not going to take this issue so lightly and will do whatever I could in order to get my issue resolved, even if I am required to take legal help I will not shy away.

Tikona tech did visit my place yesterday and ran a speed test at the Tikona speed test portal which apparently showed good results (As always). I asked them to run speed test on any public site, watch any video on you tube or download any song from any website which will make the picture more clear. Thereafter they did the same and the results showed actual downloading speed as 15 kbps.

I told them, as per my plan ZMR2999, I should get a min downloading speed of 200kbps and they agreed to it and suspected a problem somewhere with TIKONA.

Mr. Sunil Kumar(TL/Head) intervened and was on call with Mr. Sanjay (on site Tech). Upon request from Mr. Sunil, the tech mailed the screen-shot of downloading a song at 15 kbps download speed.

He asked Sanjay(tech) if the Firewall was on or the Antivirus was installed, he even asked to operate my system on Safe Mode...

Looked as if he was justifying that it was my PC that was faulty and not their network.

Later Mr. Sunil took over my system via Team viewer to see for himself and again ran speed test (which was bound to give good results). He was least bothered to see actual downloading speed I was getting. Downloading a song took around 10 min, you tube video was just buffering, buffering and buffering. When I told him about the same he claimed "YouTube and songs downloading site mein kuch prob hogi". Hahaha..

Now please tel me if thats acceptable to you...!!!

Lastly when he had nothing for self defense he surrendered by saying that this (15 kbps) is the best possible speed you will get.

Hereby I request TIKONA to either give me in writing that anyone using this plan (ZMR2999-2mbps plan) is liable to get 15 kbps as the best possible downloading speed OR just refund my money and disconnect my services ASAP.

Tikona — disgusting service

i had applied for tikona wi bro service some 5-6 months back.. i paid advanced rs.1650. from last 5-6months i am paying rs.75 extra for the wi bro device which i dont have. i have complaint the customer service executives and also the nodal officer but i dint get any positive response from there. disgusting service.
