I got Tikona connection in Oct 2012 and since day one my connection had never worked continuously for more than 15 minutes. Even after making repeated calls to customare care dpt, the connectvity remained an issue. Frustrated with their service and connection I decided to stop making the payment in Jan 2013. With this i started getting N number of calls from Tikona pressurizing me to make the payments. I always told them to solve the issue and i will clear all the dues but they didnt solve the connectivity issue.

This kept on going for appx 3 mnths and then Tikona assured me that if I clear all the dues they will rectify the problem. Also they said they will be able to rectify the problem only if I pay the dues to them. Convinced with them, I decided to give them one more chance and cleared all the dues and they sent their technician one fine day to solve the connectivity issue. Technician changed the posittion of modem on mhy terrace and told me that i will never face this issue again but just after 3 hours of later the connection again stopped working. Instantly I raised complaint to them again and requested Tikona customer care to terminate the connection and not to generate any bill against my name as the connection never worked.

Awefuly, i get a message few days later that my tikona bill of 960 has been generated and i need to make the payment asap. Frustrated with this, I again called the customer care and told them how can they ask me to make the payment whne the connection not even worked for more than 3 hours? I again asked them to terminate the connection and give me a waiver. I got an answer that I need to drop a mail to tikona for connection termination and then department will analyse the case and give me a waiver if convinced. I dropped the mail and to them for termination clearly stating that I should not be making the payments as the connection never worked for me. Also, I activated the connection just to give one last chance to Tikona to solve the connectivity issue and not to generate another bill and harass me for making a payment for the connection which I could never use.

After few days, i got a call from another technicial that he is coming to deinstall the connection and take the model etc from my site. I agreed and he gave me an acknowledgment receipt that he has successfuly deinstalled model in good condition and that I dont need to pay any fine for that. I have the receipy with me now.

With all this i thought that I have gracefully exited from Tikona deal and opted for bsnl connection later.

Now after around 1 month, I got a call from one lady calling from Delhi number [protected] claiming to be calling frm Delhi Court from some PCR dpt and informed me that Tikona has filed a case against me that I have not made a due payment of Rs 2500. She told me that she wants to have my consent whether I want to go ahead and fight the case or I would like to settle the matter outside the court. I tried to explain to that lady that she has wrong information with her and i should not be making any payment to Tikona as per my emails and the modem collection that happened. But she insisted that she is not aware of all that and the case is with Delhi court not with Tikona anymore. She didnt even allow me to call tikona once and check on the matter and told me if i have to do the settlement on this matter then i will have to make the online payment right away else she will forward the case file to have a date of hearing on this matter. Also, As i m in bangalore, and the case is filed in Delhi, she scared me that i will have to keep visiting delhi and hire a lawyer etc and will be introuble if i go in this direction.

Obviously i cannot afford to keeo travelling to delhi for hearings so I had no choice but to make the payment online right away and i did that. She took the transaction Id from me and said if transaction is succesfull then this case will be closed here itself.

After this call i tried to call on the same number from which i got a call and it says that the number is not in service. I called Tikona people aftr that and told them that how can they file a forge case against my name even though I have cleared the matter with them and have the proofs as well.But the shame less people told me that if i have the proof i should scan and mail it to them then their backend team will analyse the matter. In reply i told them that as I have all the proofs with me and Tikona has harassed and cheated me by taking the Delhi court route so inreturn I am also going toconsumer court with all the proofs else they need to tell me how and when will they pay me back my 2500/-. But the shameless creatures in Tikona kept on pressing me to send them the proofs inorder to procees in this matter. Well, as i know that i have not done any thing wrong in this entire deal and have the proofs with me of all the device de installation etc, I will go to consumer courte and media and Police to take an action and get this fraud company shut down asap. These buggers are cheating people by using fake numbers and agencies to loot money which they should never get from consumers.

My advice to people PLZ STOP USING TIKONA and come out of this fraud circle. They are frauds, Cheats, Thugs and will harass you for your hard earned money.

Tikona Broadband — cheated on me

I had internet connect on 16 nov 2011 by Tikona but on 9 dec i started to get speed of 256kb and my plan is 756kb unlimided.so i call them about it and they say that i cross my downloading limit in unlimited plan what a joke and they also said that after a mouth my speed will normal again.but it did not happened my net speed is still 256kb and today is 20 dec . Tikona are cheater
