[Resolved]  Tikona — Worst service

The TIKONA service is pathetic,I Tushar.Vijay.Patil (Customer Id: [protected]) signed up for the TIKONA connection on 07-march-10 and completed the registration formalities and made payment by cheque for 500 (cheque no 673906 corporation bank ) i was informed the installation technician will arrive in 3-4 days for installation and no technician arrived for installation ,i called several times to the TIKONA Customer care and every time i was provided many complaint numbers and no action ,,later i send email complaint to the regional office for TIKONA and the head office at bhandup and latr the TIKONA technician arrived for installation on 23-March-10 merely after 16 days of registration....further i got received my TIKONA bill for duration 23-03-10 to[protected]Bill no- B[protected]wherein TIKONA did not count the RS 500 i paid towards the installation i paid by cheque that was cleared and again i called TIKONA customer care and after few calls and compaints was informed the rs 500 will be adjusted in next bill ...thereafter for few days the service worked fine and again since past few days the speed for the internet connection is very less and not according to the TIKONA plan i have subscribed for which provides 150kbps and the actual speed i get is 7-8kbps on average so i placed complaint twice now since 27-04-10 and twice (complaint no:[protected], ) and yet no response from any TIKONA technician to solve the problem.....

My tikona customer id is [protected]


I have sent the email last week saying that the connection is not working for 2 weeks, there were no response
I called up in my weekends 2 days.they said they will fix the problem but still not .But I have received the message saying that the problem has been fixed(there is no tecnition visti)


I could find out the real root cause of this problem, tikona is working on the basics of Access point and receiver concept (our Old doordarshant antenna ).


When ever there are some problem with the Access points the customer will face the problem.and thse people are dismantling the Access points with out any notifications.

So all I request is please don't choose tikona, while you doing the research on getting broadband connection the prices of tikona will be very attractive.but while you really using it you will defiantly feeling like, you are paying for nothing and the stress and frustrations are bonus.


And these people are doing some more trick like calculating 1GB -1000MB.(Where 24MB is going).this is like south indian film Anniyan concept(rob 5 paise from 5 crore people for 5 crore times) huge amount right?
tikona service is the worst service that i had never seen... signal will be frequently low and high ll not get stable speed sometimes it may be disconnect in middle and take 2 days to work normal..this happens frequently , giving complaint is also waste of time and money ..no use...Be careful guys while taking services of such companies
I suggest everyone to drop the idea of opting Tikona as your service provider. Its the worst one can have. I had paid the installation charge on 4th April, the person who came to recieve the payment said I will get connection in two days , but I got connected on 17th April after struggling so much, i.e I had to call 2 or 3 people daily and ask for installation and they would reply that " IT WILL BE DONE BY TODAY", but it took 2 week for them to get the connection.

Finally after the installation the tech person checked the speed and I was getting around 400kbps speed but I had opted for 300kbps unlimited plan. I had also paid Rs.500 for installation. Once the tech person left the connection started deteriorating , after that it became still worst and for the past 2-3 days I was not able to connect to internet also, even if connected it would be very slow, I would get a download speed of 2-3kbps for a 300kbps connection, which is not at all acceptable. Finally I submitted application for termination of the connection today i.e 22 April 2010. So I suggest all not to go for TIKONA, just as their name thier service also is worst. I had given several complaints also but No use the customer care is horrible. They tell they will send tech person but no use the tech person never came for repair.

tikona wireless broadband — Delay in providing services, after taking an advance

This is a complaint against Tikona Wireless Broadband Services. I called their sales executive and he gave me an assurance that after filling the form the services will be installed in your premises within a day or two. The formalities was done on 17th April (Saturday) and he gave me an assurance that by 19th April (Monday) the services would be installed. Some how I rang them up continuously for 4 days then they came to install the devices on 22nd April (Thursday). But still the thing is not over. They said that the password for the services would be given to your number within an hour or so. Today is 25th April (Sunday) and I haven't received any password from them, even after complaining thrice at the customer care centre of Tikona. They mention specifically that to provide technical support contact customer care, and after talking to them they says that we do not have access to such and such queries. If they don't have proper team that can manage their own system, why the hell they are providing such services.
On asking that when the billing would be started and if I want to remove this service after such a delay will my advance would be refunded, they were having no answer. The person concerned I talked to was Parnoti Gohe/ Gote and she was the Floor manager of the concerned company.

There is still no technician at my residence to resolve the issue with the network thereafter i called the TIKONA Customer care and they as usual gave me refrence number[protected] and the timframe was 8hrs but still not resolved also for the email correspondence for the nodal officer (mahesh.[protected]@tikona.in) i was provided Nodal Officer Escalation Docket Number:[protected] which was never taken care of no technician called for to resolve but they only call for bill payment reminders which is disgusting why would someone pay for service that is not provided and promised ...TIKONA CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOTHING BUT BUNCH OF LIERS...

Tikona — Incomplete Installation

This is Prashant from Virar, I have applied for Internet service with Tikona. Sales excutive Mr. Pankaj Singh met me on 7th of May 2010. He said my internet connection would be done in 5days. He took a cheque of rs. 500/- and told after installation confirmation this cheque would be deposited. After that I launched complaints in customer care, every time they give me 24hrs time to solve my problem. When checked my balance that cheque had been deposited without any confirmation and installation. I threatended them about this and said i would complain against u in consmuer forum. They are calling me continuously to confirmation if installation has done or not. They are sending any person to internet installation.
Kindly Suggest me.

Tikona Digital Network — worst service and billing service

I had taken Tikona Broadband 599 plan on 18 May 2010.I have never seen such bad internet service provider. First 25 days it was working with good speed and connection and after this it used to get disconnected 4-5 hours everyday and sometime limited and no connectivity for full day . Whenever I complained, customer care used to take the complaint and told me a sms would be coming to your mobile and engineer will be visiting your house very soon. I had never got any SMS,2 times engineer visited to my house to check the problem but they had done nothing and told me that it will get rectified with in two days. After so many complaint to Tikona regarding the this I called them repeatedly but they kept on saying that it would be get rectified. Customer Care is not able to show any good reason for this kind of inconvenience. I want to throw this network out of my house and want to register a complain against them regarding this to consumer forum.

I am really surprised, what sort of company is this. I am feeling like I am mentally tortured by them.

I want to know how can I take an action against for my sheer harrasment.
Very true tikona just know how make money out of people pathetic service & customer service is disgusting i have been calling customer service my internet is down from the past 4 days i have been getting differnt responce all teh time dont ever buy this connection i will be removing this service very soon
I strongly agree. My customer ID is [protected]. I get no connectivity or a terribly pathetic speed of 108 bytes per second and not Kbps (Kilobyte per second). This speed may take more than one and half hour to download an application form with a logo. So the fact is no one can do it.
This company must be charged for duping people.

Tikona — Worst Service & Billing

Tikona Broadband is a worst service provider and after sale customer service is more worst that i never seen my whole life. I can say its service and provider. My service has been cancelled and confirmed by Tikona, but still after 6 months, I am receiving bills from them. I spoke to them many time to stop generating bills as service has been cancelled since long, but they dont listen and keep generating bills on my name. I would never ever recommend any one to go for Tikona. I would say its batter not to have broadband connection instead of having Tikona...
similar case is happened with me, i activated my connection on 9 august and till 20 august connection was not working, it was told me customer care that there was technical problem in my area,
so i used internet only on 8 august for only 1-2 hrs
and i received 135Rs bill from 8 august to 14 august 2010, my usage was only 22MB !!

i called customer care 3-4 time, but dont get justification about this bill yet.
yes, billing is totally illogical,

Dont take Tikona connections. Its really worst service. Once your payment clear no one either customer care / sales person / regional officer take care of your issues.

This is only money making service. They are not worried about customers.

Tikona — Reg: Service

Hi, I haven't used Tickona for last 6-8 months, after 8 months they are calling me and asking for moeny, they haven't send any emails or sms during this course of the time, now they are telling they will go for court. i really got annoyed and when i have asked for a detailed report on how much i have used in this time, they didn't give that information, what should i have to do in this particular case??..

Tikona Digital Networks — Regarding Service

Dear Sir/Madam,
Myself is Mritunjay Kumar and i am using Tikona Broadband service from 6th apr 2011. From last 4 days (20 apr 2011) i am not able to use the service. So many times i spoke to customer care person regarding the problem and also got the SMS and calls from their end. They told my service will rectify in 8 hrs but already 24 hrs left and facing same problem. So many times i have made a complain in customer care.
All the payment i have made on time but i am not getting any proper solutions.

I am working from home and without internet connection i can not work. Due to this problem i am loosing minimum 10 thousand indian rupees per day. So in last 4 days almost i loose 40+ thousnad rupees.

Please help me and do some needful help.
