Toshiba Laptops — Poor servicing , delay in issuing the spare part for my laptop

Sir

Before 3 months I had bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L850-Y5310 for 56000/- .
Its hinges got damaged and I gave it to the service center on[protected]
My complaint no. is:[protected].
From the very 1 st day they are replying that the spare part for my laptop will reach within 2 weeks and even today they are replying the same.
They are not providing any information about my laptop which is the service center for almost 2 months. They are replying that there is a delay in supplying. They are making a fool of me and kept without verdict.
please take necessary actions.

Toshiba — poor service, delayed by 1 month

sir,
i had given my toshiba laptop for repair at the HCL INFOSYSTEMS, VIMAN AGAR, PUNE. The CB set had to be changed in the system. they said that it would take a time of 10 days. but till date it is not repaired. i am fedup of calling them again and again. now today they again said that it will take a time of a week more. all my works have stopped because of this irresponsibility of the HCL INFOSYSTEMS.
please help me and other consumers of these products, they face the same difficulty,

Toshiba Laptops — Update CIBIL

I have finance my laptops through bajaj finance I have already full fill my loan to Bajaj clear from my account but they put my name as “WRITTEN OFF” on the cibil site now I can't apply for any loan I have applied but it always come rejected through SBI due to my name is there on the cibil as a “WRITTEN OFF” that i havnt paid the amount in the month of Oct 2009 but as per my bank statement they have already got the money through cheque after my continuous compalint they clear my account and finally settled it as a zero value. Please help me clear my name from the cibil site so that i can improve my credit.

Toshiba Laptops — charge for a notebook recall

Hi All,

It is painfull to see such bad sales after service offered by company who do not care about the product or the customers.

I have a Toshiba A135-S2276 laptop with the Product id: - PSAD6U – 00R00D, Serial no 27178759K. This notebook was bought in United States with International warranty purchased on 13th March 2007 Now the notebook is out of warranty and I am facing a password issue. I called up the Toshiba tech support U.S as the notebook was bought in united states, they said that the notebook was in warranty but the issue what I was facing was a known issue and there is a recall on this notebook and Toshiba will consider it as in warranty for that issue till 31st Dec 2010 and they gave me a document number and had asked me to contact the India tech support as I was in India.

I called the Toshiba India tech support on 2nd Sept 2010 at first they said that the product was not getting registered and they asked me to click a picture of the serial no and product no label which was at the bottom panel of the notebook and sent it to [protected]@toshiba-india.com. I mailed the picture on the same day.

I called back on 3rd Sept 2010 and the product got registered and they asked me what the problem with my notebook was. I told them that I was working on my notebook and it was working fine and the next morning I tried turning on the notebook it asked me for a BIOS password which I had never set, I also told them that I had contacted the U.S tech support and they had given me a document number and they said that there was a recall and it will not be charged but , It was shocking to know that the Toshiba India tech support had no information about the same and they asked me to email the document and other information to [protected]@toshiba-india.com I mailed the picture on the same day.

I called back on 4th Sept 2010 and they said that they had received the email and the email was escalated to the higher department and I will be getting a reply on Monday (as it was Saturday and Sunday higher department did not work)

I called back on 6th Sept 2010 at 11.00am and told the same and the tech rep said that you can take the notebook in for service at the service center and had asked me to give a call from the service center and they would talk to the service center guys. I went to the service center located at somajiguda, Hyderabad at 12.30pm and made a call to the tech support and the tech rep spoke to the service center guys gave them the document number and explained them the issue and said that it would be no charge as per the Toshiba document.

I called the service center today 10th Sept 2010 and they said that they had not repaired the notebook yet ( 5 days after I gave the notebook ) I called up the Toshiba india tech support and they said that they have still not received ay reply from the higher department and the notebook will be considered as out of warranty and charged. I asked them if it would take weeks or months and they did not give me any reply. I asked them that after I had provided the document number and all the other information why would I be charged and there was no answer and I asked them if there was actually any one at the higher department to reply to my complains/mails as I had not received any reply from them. I asked if the document which was there in their website, do they disrespect them and if yes then I would like the same on a email to which they did not reply. I asked for a supervisor and the tech said there was no one available (this is the second time I asked for a supervisor from 2nd Sept and I got the same reply) and then the tech rep hung up the call on my face.

There is no one to help and no one to look in to such kind of bad service provided by the manufacturer after the product was sold.
