TVS STAR CITY — TVS dealer's Bad Service

Hello,
Three months back i had purchased TVS Star city from HARYANA.And i done my first service from ADITI TVS NOIDA.But after their service my power mode switch became non functional.Everytimes it shows power mode.When i asked ADITI dealer to change it, they first agreed to change but after 3 hours they said they donot have the switch for CVTI model and i have to come on next week .But few minutes back, i asked in store it was available there.They said as by touching or moving the switch it is working fine so they can not change it.There service is ineffecient.People just transfer their work to one another, every where complete chaos.If you shouts on them then only they will listen to you.Totally unmanaged service centre in NOIDA.TATA motors should make sure the effeciency while giving licences to open agency to these people.

TVS/STAR CITY — Not start

My bike is under waranty and after service i am faceing that after mopving 5-6 kilometer it stop by making sound of blast from silencer and it stop after waiting for few minute it start but not take race.pls help

Yes. I do facing the problem the firing sound from silencer. I have given service to ramkay tvs, meenakshi tvs. but no use.

It seems to be a manufacturing defect with TVS STAR CITY.

I have a bike tvs star city, we goning to service my bike in service center in ballabgarh.but after sevice he tell me your bike have manufecture problem. pls tell me tvs bike have manufeture problem.

Complaint to Jkey Tvs Pondicherry Corrected the problem
but two day again sound
Second time i told Jkey tvs this time 3 days correct the problem
but not satisfaction
Third Time Compalint same problem handover the bike to Jkey tvs (22/03/2010) This time no answer to me (24/03/2010)

TVS — Not Getting Good Mileage and Services

I HAVE BOOKED TVS JIVE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH IN RAMKAY TVS SERVICES IN ADYAR CHENNAI AND I TOOK DELIVERY ON THE SAME MONTH. BEFORE BOOKING THEY PROMISED THE TVS JIVE GIVE THE MORETHAN 60KMS MILAGE, BUT NOW MY VEHICLE IS GIVING ONLY 36 KM/LITER PETROL, DURING THE RIDING SUDDENLY ENGINE GETTING OFF AND WITH IN 5 KM DISTANCE THE GEAR BOX GETTING MORE HEAT, AND IT RADIATE MORE HEAT, SO I UNABLE TO KEEP MY RIGHT FOOT IN THE FOOT REST. DURING THE FIRST,SECOND SERVICE ALSO INFORMED THE SAME TO RAMKAY SERVICES,BUT SERVICES NOT DONE GOOD,THEY TOLD SIMPLY IT WILL GIVE 45 TO 50 KMS.BUT I AM GETTING ONLY 36 KMS MILAGE AND SOME SMELL ALSO CONTINOUSLY GETTING I CHECKED WITH SERVICE PROVIDER THEY TOLD SOME PLASTIC COVER TOUCHED INTO ENGINE SO GET SMELL IT WILL BE SOLVE AUTOMATICALLY BUT STILL FACING THE SAME ISSUES.

REALLY VERY UPSET BCOZ I AM A MIDDLE FAMILY ONLY.TOTAL AMOUNT LOST AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM SERVICE PROVIDER ALSO.

KINDLY LOOK INTO THE ISSUE AND HELP TO SOLVE THE ISSUE.KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTION ABOUT MY COMPLAINT AND SOLVE THE SAME.

Hi Guys, I’m anoop from bangalore. I completely disagree with you guys. Star City 110 is an excellent bike. Normally I used to get a mileage anywhere between 58kmpl to 65KMPL (depending on the way I ride).It has even given me 75kmpl+ few times. After I bought a car, I did not take care of the bike. Once when I checked the mileage recently it was giving a mileage only ranging from 47kmpl to 52kmpl. I took it to a mechanic to check on this. He just did the right turning for the engine. I filled petrol for Rs 50 when It went to reserve. The amount of petrol filled was 0.68ltrs. It went for 54kms until it went to the next reserve. So the mileage would be 54/0.68, the mileage I got was 79.4kmpl without hampering the pickup of the bike. Take it to a mechanic and tune your bike. Belive me you will get 60kmpl+ mileage. Also service it and change engine oil regularly.

I have purchased a new TVS Star City i . After every service i found complaint in the bike right now after EVERY free service bike is not running ok so again i m going to the services center of hENNUR RING ROAD . still after complaint services my bike is not running ok... MY tvs star city 110 cc bike, it has starting problem, and mileage problem . this bike is only a total waste of money... my bike TVS STAR CITY have many problems 1. clutch problem 2. sound in en. 3. tight gear 4. poor avg. i tell all problem to service man but i have no good effort after service only doing the wash...

MAJOR FUEL METER NEVER WORK IN MAJORITY OF THE 110 CC TVS BIKES
BEST TO GO OTHER BIKES THAN TVS
