Virgin Atlantic Airways — Whether true or fake jobs?

I have received an appointment and contract letter from V.A.A. from Mr. Sherrod Brown, Project Administrator. I have signed the contract and sent it to him. Also I have paid 47720.00 INR as processing fees to the travel agent V.A.A. has recommended for visa processing (Oasis travel agency, U.K.). They have further asked me to pay 2500. pounds as basic travel allowance (BTA) which will be refunded after the visa processing is done within 48 hours.

As I have my joining date is on 24th April 09 and I have to finish all my documentation before 16th April 09 I need to know whether all this is fine and whether I can carry on with the further process of my job with Virgin Atlantic Airways because I need to send the rest of the amount tomorrow and it's also a huge amount for me. (Please take this as an enquiry)

Your urgent reply on this matter would be highly appreciated.
