With regard to your request, we would like to inform you that, we have checked your bill dated 1/11/2011, 1/12/2011, 1/1/2012 and confirm that the Vodafone [protected]@49 service is deactivated w.e.f. 22/10/2011.

Further, we wish to inform you that [protected]@49 service is a non pro-rated service hence you have charged for the same in 1/11/2011 bill.

My name is Vanish Acharya, I am a corporate customer of Vodafone and I work for WNS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. My current Vodafone numbers are [protected] (Corporate Number) and [protected]. Following is the explanation of my complaint.

I purchased a Vodafone corporate number [protected] (Account number 8.11469298.00.00.101663) in November 2007 and I continued using the number till February 2008 without any billing or network issues. In the month of February 2008 I made a cheque payment (CITI Bank Cheque Number 505899) of 1500INR to Vodafone. After ten days my outgoing services were barred and called Vodafone customer service to know the reason and I was informed that the reason was due to nonpayment of bill then I explained the agent that I have made a cheque payment and also provided the cheque number then the agent informed that the cheque was bounced then I called my Bank to check on the same but I was informed by my bank that they never received ant cheque from Vodafone for clearance, then I again called Vodafone customer service and spoke to another agent who still was not able to help me then asked for an escalation and spoke to a supervisor who then checked and told me that they have received the cheque but it was never sent for clearance and the supervisor apologized and activated my outgoing services. After few more days (On February 18 2008) again my outgoing was barred and I again called Vodafone and the same thing was repeated but in the end they again activated my outgoing service and I was happy about, but my happiness did not last for a long time because again after a few more days my outgoing service was barred and then I again called Vodafone customer service and I was given the same reason for restriction of the service, this time I was very upset and really got frustrated and I explained the agent about the same story and I asked the agent to activate my service and call me back by the next day morning with a status of the cheque I had given to Vodafone but to surprise me or rather to put me in deep shock the agent told me that I am the one who is in need and I should call them if I want to know the status. The next day I checked and my service was still not reactivated then I called my bank and Vodafone had still not sent the cheque for clearance so I stopped the payment of that cheque and called Vodafone and informed about the same. In the later months I got calls from the legal department of Vodafone and I explained them the entire story and I told them that I am really ready to meet them in the court, and after that I never got calls from any departments of Vodafone.

On June 05, 2009 I bought another Vodafone corporate number [protected] and on October 03, 2009 I paid my bill of 986INR but after two days my outgoing service was barred and on calling Vodafone I was informed that I have exceeded my credit limit then I made a payment of 1000INR but again on October 14, 2009 my outgoing service was barred and I called the Vodafone customer service and spoke with Shadab who said that my unbilled amount had gone up to 2600INR which I knew was incorrect so I asked for a supervisor but Shadab refused to transfer the call to a supervisor but as I refused hang up the call without speaking with a supervisor so he placed my call on hold and after 10 minutes my call was placed on mute but I did not disconnect then again the call was placed on hold and after 5 minutes came the supervisor Jagdeep Singh. Mr. Singh was very rude and just said that his system is down and cannot help then I said I will wait till the system is restored then Mr. Singh told me that I was talking crap and disconnected. After an hours time I got a message from Vodafone informing to make a payment of 2694INR on my old disconnected account to avoid disconnection of service on this account.

Following are my questions to Vodafone:

1}. I gave the cheque of 1500INR to Vodafone on February 02, 2008 then why was the cheque sent for clearance on March 06, 2008?
2}. Why did Vodafone disconnect my outgoing services thrice in the month of February?
3}. If the cheque was bounced, then why did Vodafone reactivate my outgoing service on the 12th and 18th of February, 2008?
4}. If the payment of Vodafone number [protected] was not made then why did Vodafone disconnect the services of numbers [protected] and [protected]? As these numbers dint had anything to do with the previous number.
5}. Why didn’t Vodafone call me before disconnecting the services of my new numbers?
6}. Why did the Customer Service agent lie me, that the usage of my new number has gone up-to 2600INR.

I want Vodafone to activate my services ASAP and waive the bill of my Vodafone Numbers [protected] and [protected] for month October 2009 as I am not getting the services in this month on both the numbers. I would also want Vodafone to compensate for all the inconvenience caused. I would also want Mr. Jagdeep Singh (Supervisor Vodafone Customer Service) to call me and apologize for unprofessional conversation he had with on a customer service call.

I would appreciate a prompt and a satisfactory response in this matter

It had furious experience of service at your Karli Baug - Vodafone office .

On[protected] i went to the office and ask them to change my bill paln from Post Paid to Pre Paid, in a first instance the officer said that your add on card need to be changed first and the next day we can change the primary card(It is Rule???!!!). I said OK, here is the add on card along with the relevat documents and pls process the request. The officer take the application and give onother SIM and said that it will be activated after 8:00 pm (On[protected].

I request them that i am going to NASIK and will not be availabel for couple of days, so i take the forms and attached relevant documents as i did it for my add on card and confirm with the officer that my cousin will come on Next day and you can take the application and process for changing the bill plan.

He said OK, we can process the next day,there were holidays and my cousin went on Monday[protected] in the morning to the office and submitted the application. The officer accept it and said it will be done in few hours.....!!!!, It was not Done and as my cousin went from there (as she didn't ask to collect the new SIM - She was not aware) and the officer on confirming today[protected] replied that the application and the documents were distroyed by us as you have not come today and ask to submit the application AGAIN???

My question is why my cousin was not attended properly(i Know this was done to gain the three-four days rental of the plan) and to my surprice/ Shock, they did not bother to call / sms that the application was not done(or may be not process if you will not collect the New SIM and the uasge bill) and you have to submit once again.


NOW - I want everything in black and white from you for the following details :

1)My plan should be chage from Post paid to Pre paid - with effect from[protected].

2)I will not pay exept the usage for this three-four days(From[protected] to[protected]

3) Confirm that All my activated services are CANCELED .

4) Best Prepaid Plan details for both of my SIM.

5) Immediate service for the change of Plan, I will submit the application BUT the kareli buag office have to arrange for the documents(as i had already submitted twice and one time they have destroyed it - By their own without informing)

Pls do not make my mind to go for further escalation / actions.

Vodafone/Billing Issue — Payment not Updated

This is regards to my vodafone account([protected]) payment that I made at Kiosk center at M2K in Sector-3 but has not been updated on my account. I recieved the hand made reciept from the customer care outlet that is located there and I forwarded it to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com on December 16, 2010 explaining everything about my issue & got the revert on Decenber 18, 2010 that these people need 48 working hours but I did not recieve any revert. After that I asked for any update but nothing happened. Below mentioned are the reference number for both the emails.

Vodafone India — Blackberry unlimited service billing and credit limit issue

I would like to bring to your attention that call service on my Vodafone number ******4688 has been barred due to exceeding of credit limit. I had visited a Vodafone Store in Abids area on 6/6/2011 and they asked to me to make an interim payment, which I paid Rs 1,000 towards my outstanding bill for the month of May 2011. The customer care representative assured me that the issue will be resolved. However despite her assurance my call service has been barred again today (6/7/2011). I am very unhappy with this inconsistent behavior shown by Vodafone. Being a corporate customer, I feel a priority service should be delivered.

Another concern is the unbilled balance that is showing in my account, which creating the credit limit to exceed unnecessarily, since I have signed up for BlackBerry Unlimited package of Rs 599, my unbilled amount should not exceed beyond that in addition with the monthly rental of Rs 199. I am hardly using my phone to have an unbilled amount of over Rs 4,000.00 A screen shot of My account is shown below with the unbilled usage amount. Moreover the rate at which Black Berry service is billed at is absurd, in a matter of 3 days unbilled usage of Rs 4,000 has been charged. There is no disclosure on how the Black Berry Unlimited Plan rates are arrived and how the service functions. Please ensure that the matter is resolved at the earliest, enabling me to utilize the service uninterrupted.

I would like to complain for my Vodfaone number [protected] as

1)I have been charged more than my "Credit Limit" (current credit limit Rs. 1700), which shouldn't have been done and my services should have been stopped at that moment itself when the credit limit would have reached, and

2) I have been given wrong information about "Blackberry Plan" and wasn't informed that my IM and email ID usage would be chargeable. I was only told that Internet usage,as in Vodafone Live & WAP sites would be chargeable. Hence I have been charged Rs 3071.10.

My complaint is that I was given incomplete and wrong information while activating my Blackberry plan?Furthermore, as to why was my bill allowed to exceed credit limit (Rs[protected]=1920) without my permission?

Due to the above mentioned problems, I have been charged Rs 3620/- for my bill, which has FAR EXCEEDED my credit limit and expectation. I have also complained to Vodafone 6 times, but I have been receiving completely inappropriate and irrelevant responses like my call charges,etc which are not even my issue.

I am Mahesh Mhanere since last four years using vodafone mobile service. in the month april someone from vodafone called me for blackberry unlimited service in offer RS399 (which is cost RS599). then i said ok but they have not instructed any thing that if you access anything you will charge.

I have receiving the access bill from couple of months for the service which I am not using for "Downloads" every day its charged 5 Rs. subjected as re.1 store renew. I recently switched through MNP from Loop prepaid to Vodafone postpaid on 14th March 2013. I was given a meagre credit limit of 200 Rs in the beginning and my outgoing services (calls, messages and Internet) were barred when i exceeded that. After much prodding the services were started and my credit limit was still only increased till 800 Rs. Today, my unbilled amount exceeded that amount so again my outgoing services have been stopped and I was asked to pay 846 Rs to continue using the services. All this within just 15 days of my new connection! If this is the poor service I'm getting I would like to file a case against Vodafone.

It took more than 10 days to activate my Sim card & in the mean time my prepaid services were also restricted as a result i was without a phone for over 10 days. Considering this as a human error i went on with service. My tariff plan had 1 gb of data as informed by sales executive & my maximum bill was for Rs800. However in the month of may i received a bill for Rs49964 approx saying that my data package was just a 3 months promotional offer & i got charged for the usage. I had never been informed by the sales executive about this neither Vodafone as a company gave any reminder or intimated about this through message or phone call. I have complaint about this to customer care & have also sent mail to relevant complaints team but i have just been offer a reversal of Rs1300 from the company however i refuse the same & ask for complete reversal of data charges for the current month which is appro Rs3900. I have been asked by Vodafone gallery executive to discontinue the services & don't make a payment on individual advice. On a logical ground if i have to ask will you keep using data service knowing that you will get charged for the same wherein you can get add on for Rs 500 with 3G services. I use data package just to use watsaap application & surf facebook. Now my services are getting barred on numerous occassions for crossing my credit limit. Imagine an individual who never had a bill over Rs800 in last 3 months suddenly gets a service tax on his bill for Rs 534.84. I would request you to treat this as a misselling from your executive just to improve their sales stats. I refused to pay this bill under any circumstances.
I will make it clear again that i am not disputing the usage but the wrong information given from sales team & no notification given by the company for the same thorugh message or call. Also if you have the call recording for the sales team please refer the same & if possible i want a copy for my reference too.
