Sir,
We have sent the following reply to Er.Gilbertson.
Thank You.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e mail concerning your job offer.

The Visa Department does not verify the authenticity of job offers for the UK. Further

information concerning the procedures and fees for applying for visas or work permits in the

UK can be found on the following official UK government websites:

www.workingintheuk.gov.uk

www.ukvisas.gov.uk

Whilst there are legitimate recruitment agencies who secure employment in the UK for a

reasonable fee, there are also many bogus schemes operating. Please note that only the UK

government can issue a work permit and anybody else who claims to have authority to do so is

not being truthful.

You should exercise caution in these matters, particularly if you have not met the person or

company involved. You need to satisfy yourself fully that everything is genuine before

handing over any money. I note that the telephone number provided is a mobile number, not

the kind of practice one would expect of a large company. I would suggest that you establish

the authenticity of the company via Companies House in London. If the company exists then

contact them on their official telephone number, not the one provided to you over the

internet.

Although we cannot state categorically that this is not genuine, it bears all the hallmarks

of a hoax and they will no doubt ask you to deposit money into a bank account on the promise

of a job, work permit and visa. You should not part with any money unless you are completely

satisfied that everything is genuine. If you have paid over any money then you may wish to

report the matter to the police.

I can confirm that there is nobody by the name of Mr. Fernandes Spencer employed by the

British Deputy High Commission or the British Council in Mumbai. Furthermore, the BDHC do

not contact people in advance concerning work applications for the UK and the British

Council do not offer employment in the UK. Nor do we ask for money over the internet. Once a

person has obtained their work permit then they apply for the visa to enter the UK.

Unfortunately the type of e mail you received is common in India and is usually accompanied

by a request for payment of money in advance. Genuine UK government e mail addresses end

with gov.uk which will enable you to establish its genuineness. Whilst there are legitimate

recruitment agencies who secure employment in the UK, any organisation making such claims as

this should be treated with extreme caution. I suggest that you check very thoroughly before

paying any money particularly when they are asking for fees

I hope this is helpful.

Yours sincerely

Sir,
We have sent the following reply to Er.Gilbertson.
Thank You.

Dear Sir,

Loving greetings.

The first respondent conducted some interview unto me over email and informed me that I was

selected for the Post of Electronics Engineer in the Weatherford Oil Corporation and has

sent me an APPOINTMENT LETTER, which is attached herewith.

Also he has informed me to contact the second respondent to get assistance in ENTRY

CLEARANCE & things related with TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.

I have communicated the second respondent at India over mobile, where he agreed himself as

Immigration Advisor. While I requested him for an appointment in person, he got very angry

and refused.

Then I have communicated the first respondent at Scotland over Phone, Where he agreed

himself as CEO of Weatherford Oil Corporation. While I requested him to provide his

OFFICIAL EMAIL ADDRESS, he refused to provide it.

Hence I am in doubt, whether the APPOINTMENT LETTER sent by the first respondent is genuine

or fake.

Hence I humbly request you to take necessary action and kindly clarify me whether the

APPOINTMENT LETTER by the first respondent is genuine.

I suspect that both the respondents were Cyber criminals.

The emails sent to me by both the respondents can be found below to this mail.

With thanks.
