Deals and You – the online shop cheating the customers delivering fake and faulty products.
Government have to take legal proceedings against the Online Shops Cheating customers delivering fake products and faulty products offering genuine and good quality branded products.
In online shopping, the customer has no chance to verify the product purchasing by them before making the payment. Therefore it is the duty of the vendor to check the product and assure it is genuine and good one.
I am on the way to file a criminal complaint u/S 420, 465 and 120 B of IPC R/w relevant provisions of the IT Act of 2000 as amended in 2008 against one of the Online Shop named ‘dealsandyou.com
The incident causing the criminal complaint against dealsandyou.com is as follows.
Deals and you Delivered a fake and faulty Black Berry Phone to me against my order for a genuine Black Berry Phone through their website and collected the rate through Blue Dart Express in Cash on Delivery method. On the very next day, every one whom I called using the phone complained about lack of clarity of the phone. I called the vendor and informed him the status of the mobile phone delivered to me and directed me to send back the phone for replacement. When I visited the Blue Dart Express Courier service, they informed me that, they cant collect mobile phones from the customers without having written direction from the vendor. Soon I called the vendor, but he refused to issue any such letter.
After more than one month’s regular communications, the mobile phone was taken back by Deals and You, through the same Blue Dart Express. In between this, I have tried to check the phone through the local Mobile phone technicians and all of them stated the phone delivered to me is not a genuine Black Berry phone, but a China made fake Black Berry phone. Even though I requested the vendor to let me have the service through the Redington Technologies, the Authorised service centre for Black Berry GSM phones in India. But they offered replacement in spite of service.
On 24th August 2011, 19 Hr, the faulty phone was send back to the vendor through Bluedart Express Way Bill No. [protected], ref. No. [protected]. But the phone has not been replaced till this date.
On the continues request of me, deals and you has offered replacement within 72 Hours time frame more than five times since August 16 2011. But the phone has not been replaced till this day, the 29th day of September 2011. Here it is clear that, neither Deals and You nor their vendor have any intention to replace the mobile phone with a genuine one.
When I searched Internet about the Deals and you.com, It is found that, Collecting money offering Good quality Branded products and delivering e-waste imported and repacked using new case is the real business of them. Here they are cheating the customer who makes payment trusting them. This Act of ‘dealsandyou.com is an offence punishable u/S 420, 465 and 120 B of IPC R/w relevant provisions of the IT Act of 2000 as amended in 2008. I am planning to bring this issue before the consideration of Sri. Oomman Chandy, the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, through his special program ‘Sutharyakeralam’ in which he not only take action on the complaint, but also telecast it through Dooradarsan. So, through this we can prosecute the accused as well as educate the public against such frauds.
