[Resolved] Yatra.com — Refund because of discrepancy in travel dates | |||
I had a booking from Chandigarh to Mumbai for Friday, January 20, 2011 on AIR INDIA (AI-863) Yatra Booking Ref No.: [protected]. On January 18, I called the Yatra Call Center to postpone the booking to Friday, January 27, 2011 on the same flight. I was on the phone for close to 2 hours; paid a penalty of Rs.1000 to make the changes. When I received an email from [protected]@yatra.com, the e-ticket still showed the date as January 20, 2011. (Yatra Booking Reference No: 8699610) I called the call center again to ask them about the discrepancy in the date. I was told by another service attendant that it will take an hour for the system to update & I will receive an e-mail in an hour. It is January 26th today & I have not received any mail from them with the updated e-ticket. I cannot travel with the current e-ticket, which is showing my travel date as January 20th. I have been trying to reach their customer service since 10 AM today. I was on hold for over 2 hours, with no response. I have tried all their numbers.... [protected] [protected] [protected] [protected]Chandigarh) On their website, I have been trying to feed my booking reference number & it says "no booking retrieved, feed in correct information." I have written to them to cancel my booking with Yatra as under these circumstances, I have booked myself on another flight. I am highly disappointed in the unprofessionalism & harassment I have faced from an organization like Yatra! I would like a FULL refund (FARE + the charges I paid for the changes). The full refund comes to Rs.7484.00 (Rs.6484.00 + rs.1000.00). Was this information helpful? | |||
