[Resolved] Yatra.com — touts employed for so advertised home cash collection facility | |||
Booked two tickets for America ( 31/4/12) and opted for their sooo advertised cash collection facility from home.After continuous reminders for 15days finally received a call from some Amatek company.asking forpick up of remaining amount from my office address late in the evening.The person said that they wont give any acknowledgement of receiving the money abd if a draft is given then it should be on the name of Amatek and no receiving will be given which was strange as i had never heard of that company before nor Yatra told me anything of that sort.I asked that person to wait and called yatra and was shocked to hear that i was being asked by yatra to not to pay those people as they can be fraud.They added that this problem is happening.I felt so lucky that i enquired before paying close to100000/- .I want to spread this fact tp everybody that do not get trapped in the web of yatra and other touts as they will not even respond to your querries after you have given the booking amount.It is at your own risk if you pay to the people sent by yatra as if the person runs away with your money then you only will be held responsible because you will noy have any proof of payment given to yatra. Please dont opt for cash collection facility and spread this to everyone otherwise you will suffer as me,still havent got the hard copy of tickets after paying about 25000/-.
