[Resolved]  Reliance Data Card — Sudden excessive billing

I purchased a Data Card (Huwai) from Reliance on 3rd Dec 07. As per the scheme at that time it was to be free for one year at 1 GB per month with an initial payment of Rs. 10K. Everything was fine till 26th Aug 08. On this day I received a couple of SMS that has left me shell shocked. One of the SMS says pay up Rs. 7089/- . The other is weird as it reads "Your Current Bill Details - Previous Dues:Rs-1674.93; Paid:Rs0; Current Charges:Rs8764.08; Total Due:Rs7090; Due Date:10-SEP-08. Reliance"

I have registered a complaint and I was told that this will be addressed in 48 hrs. Now even when this period is lapsed there is no solution in sight.

Now I feel like a fool when I recollect what all my good friends were never tired of advising me on Reliance.

Reliance Data Card — Very Rude Customer Service

Hi,

I am using reliance data card from past 6 months. I cleared all my bills eight days before. They even activated my connection within 3 hours. Through Reliance Netconnect Card its connecting to the reliance service but when I opening the web page its showing as page cannot be displayed. I have taken my laptop to Reliance WebWorld even they could not solve it.

Today I called to customer service in Hyderabad. I dont know from where those people came from, not even trying to understand the problem. Just saying that right now service is down in your area please try later. But I am trying to explain them that its not working from last 8 days and the problem should be different. But still they are trying to convince me by saying that service is down instead o[censored]nderstanding the problem. And they were very rude in answering it. And the final answer I got them is the problem is might be with the datacard, check with the service center.

Stupid Call Center... Brainless ...

Please dont buy any product from reliance. The service you get from them is[protected].....

Reliance Data Card — Since 1 month requesting for terminate

Since one month i am requesting for terminate the connection no :[protected] no one taking the request customer care people saying me to contact webworld and webworld executive saying to contact corporate office in haddows road chennai TN, When cleared all my due amount they told i will try to terminate it as soon as possible but since 20 days after paying my bill they are now saying i have to pay this month bill also. I am really unhappy with the reliance customer care and respect given to the customers.

Reliance Data Card — No network Coverage in billing address area

I had taken a reliance data card for network usage while mobile as i travel a lot. The address of my office was given to them . Now since my travelling job is completed and have to do all my job from my office at Andheri East.

but there is no net work in that area . Ihad written numerous complaints on telephone(4 complaints have been regeistered in last one and a half month. ) to reliance care .

but today i had recive a mail that they would install cell site in that area and after that i would get the network.

if is the case they should have informed to me when i had given my office address for bill statement. so that i would not have used or bought this card.

i would like you to help in this regard i could buy another card it very small value but want that relaice shoud reliase the difficulty a customer faces when his job is based on network only

Reliance Data Card — data card inactivated

i hav epurchased the data card from reliance. the no is [protected]. after purchasing i change my home. for new home i have submitted the new address proof. but still they have not activated my data card. reilance web world are not helping me in this matter. customer care is totally use less. its like i am paying the monthly 650 rs but still getting zero service.

I made request to discontinue of my datacard service on 22-Jan-2008 but till date I am getting bill .Reason being I opted Reliance broadband.

Reliance Data Card — no replacement of data card and mental harrasement

Dear all,

I am facing problem with reliance communications. They people are more interested in money rather than giving services. And they are doing their job pretty well. I bought reliance data card On feb, 2008. After using for 2 months it suddenly stops working. I rang to customer care and they beg 4 working days time to rectify or they will send somebody to me for rectification of the problem. After waiting 4 days when I didn't hear from them, I again called rel. customer care. Then their solution was that you go to reliance web world and confirmed your problem related to card not with my laptop. I requested them that it is already confirmed by my office IT department but they refuse to hear any thing. At last I asked for web world address near to my house. They very politely give me 3 addresses. When I went there I found two of them were closed for long time and only one at preet vihar delhi was available. I went there firstly they refused to do so, but after my no. of time request they checked and found my data card is faulty. They suggest me to go to ZTE service centre to make rectify/change of data card. I went there they tested and diagnose my data card was faulty. They are willing to change my data card but they also told me it will take one month times. I got faint. I request them this card is just 2 months old and I am mostly on tour so it is difficult for me to be without data card. But they refuse with very ugly smile. I really feel bad with those smiling face. I feel cheated. Very next day I purchase TATA USB. I filed a complaint to reliance communication. From that date I am getting 3-4 calls weekly for the bill amount. Those peoples are more interested in getting their money rather than services. Even no apologies call come to me till date. Now I am going to file a case in consumer court. I strongly believe reliance is not good company. I have wasted my Rs3140.00 hard earned money and also I lost my sleep because of threatening calls from reliance people.

Reliance Data Card — Not getting pen drive

My self Atul Kumar singh had Purchased one data card no.[protected] dated 16th Jan.2008 from Reliance web world, Cozy Tower, Opp Jorwar palace Palanpur, Gujarat .At the time of purchasing of data card one 1 GB pen drive was free which is also mention on the cover of data card. But after long time they have not given me pen drive and concern Reliance officer is always misguiding me. I had also register my complain on customer care but nothing has happened. in pune. I am looking for data card USB so I went to reliance outlet in chafekar chowk chinch wad. As I don't have time in the day time and I didn't carry mobile in college time so I told them they said okay verification team will come before 8.30 am or after 7.00 pm so I said okay this happen on date 8/7/8 then I fill form and submit document they ask me to come tomarrow and verification chap call repeatedly on 9/7/8 at 4.00pm on that time I didn't carry mobile because I was in college and visit the reliance outlet boy (shortage) said form is showing negative I said I told u before filling form there is time constraint then he said okay tomarro I ask verification guy to do verification before 8.30 am I say okay next day I again visit outlet and he say form is negative and I call u then I say no miss call was there my owner said no person come from verification they literally lies with me so I said return my document then they said sorry I get angry and said I make police complaint in respect of giving wrong information and miss using my document for wrong purpose on which my signature is there after that 9/7/8 verification guy come to my residential place at 9.00 pm give positive to form so today I again went to outlet now they are saying USB not available


1) On 8/7/8 I visit outlet with intention of buying now 11/7/8 loose interest on money for three days
2) Inventory carrying cost extra for three days
3) Creating error in demand forecasting by delaying current demand and suddenly fulfilling in future in bulk which create bullwhip effect which make great losses for company
4) Poor customer relationship management
5) I visit so many times for outlet I spend lot on traveling nearly Rs.300

Above these thing making great losses for company as well as customer (me)

Today also I didn't get USB I am with cash but no product no service pathetic experience
I request company give me good service and data card(USB)and also price relaxation which I spend in traveling and waste my time I also request to take strict action against the chafekar outlet for poor customer relation before making company’s customer

Very bad service from a good company like reliance really destroying brand name which company posses

Reliance Data Card — Bills paid but the connection is deactivated.

My data card number (MDN) is [protected]. I had paid all the bills up to date but today I got a message form your end that there is a bill for Rs Two thousand one hundred approx is due. Now my connected is deactivated.

Please clear it that for which period this amount belongs to ? and kindly reactivate the connection asap if it is cleared.

Reliance Data Card — Non Activation to Prepaid

I Have purchased a Reliance Data Card in Prepaid. And activated with new GSK. But it is not activating. Reliane people are not answering to this problem.

Please see that my prepaid activation will be done immediately.

Reliance Data Card — Worst behaviour and pathetic service by customer care executive at Reliance Web world at saraswati vihar outer ring road Pitampura, New Delhi

This is reg re-activation of data card [protected] (delhi no). The card is deactivated from last 1 month. The bill is also paid. When taking to *333 or 30333333 your so called customer care people (who i think do not understand the meaning of their designation) say they do not able to help me and have to go to your rel office. When approaching Acharya Infocomm Sec 7 Rohini yesterday 23 Nov 08, the staff checked the account & said their is no dues but cannot able to activate the service today as this is web world express and i have to go to web world office. When i went to Pitampura ring road office, the ccare executive was of a worst kind of behaviour, have no manners/sense of taking. How you keep such people in customer care. When i told him, he not even listening to my problem straight way said today it cannot be done as it is Sunday. If it is sunday then why you people open the office. When i asked for the complain book he started giving different excuses. When i asked for branch manager he said manager doesn't come as today is sunday & also not provide me his ctc numbers. His ruthless and idiotic behaviour doesn't finishes here. When finally i said to provide me a solution, to that he said he cannot do anything as their office DLC is down. I have to come tomorrow. All these things were talked but my problem was not even listened. Then the second ccare executive(girl) told me that give her the date card no & my ctc no so that she will activate it later on and will inform me. But till now one day has gone the card is not yet activated. I'm in service and it is not possible for me to visit your office in day time. I told them to consider the same but nothing was listened and after assuring still no service activated. I want an action taken against this branch staff for their bad behaviour and to activate the service. Provide me a solution.

hey am also having same kind of problem..since last three days, now today morning they disconnected my card from network i logged complaint this morning, since then so many times i called them but nothing seems working on top of that customer service people advising thay can not give details why i got so much of billing amount even i have unlimited browsing plan...hope will sort out things soon...

I've purcheased reliance data card on 21st january. Till now I'm unable to work with this continuoslu. Offten it is getting disconnecting and many of the pages are not opening like gmail, ICICI bank.

I'm not happy with their customer care. I am unable to speak to the customer care officers.
