[Resolved]  Eureka Forbes — Aquaguard Enhance Green RO - Worst Customer Service and Product

To, The General Manager, Eureka Forbes, Aquaguard. Dear Sir/Madam, I enquired about the Aquaguard Product for water filtering in my new home in Mira Road, Thane. I got a call within 2 days from the date of enquiry and a meeting was setup with the Sales person at my home. "Mr. Prashant Jadhav [Contact No. [protected]]" along with another sales representative showed up in the morning in formal attire wearing ties. He spoke to me about the Aquaguard Enhance Green RO and how well this product works even with the worst water supplies. He ensured that Eureka Forbes is known for the best customer support and products and we trusted him. I bought the product after he presented all its benefits. We treated these salesmen very well, offered them cold drinks and respect. I gave him a cheque of 14990/- Rs. right away. The cheque was cleared. As promised the machine was couriered to my home. The technicians installed the machine within 2 days and Mr Prashant had told us that once the machine is installed I would come and visit the home and check for the water hardness. [In Short, Pre-Sale was awesome] 12 Days after the installation, the machine stopped working. I asked my sister to give Mr Prashant Jadhav a call and ask if he can arrange for someone to check what might be wrong and also, he had promised to come and check the machine after it is installed, but he didnt come. He did not talk in a good way with my sister. He said I am not responsible for anything which happens now and that I should contact the Service center. It is agreed, we know its not his job to take complaints but as a human and the treatment he showed on the day he came to visit us, we thought of him as a friendly guy. The most difficult statement, which made me file a complaint against him is that he said - "The water in your area is very bad and I knew the machine would not work after few days". Here is my question to Eureka Forbes. When this guy came to meet us and sell the product, I asked him to check the hardness of the water and suggest accordingly if the machine would be good enough to filter the problem. He checked and he suggested that "Aquaguard Enhance Green RO" is the best machine and can filter out any kind of water. He also said that he has installed the same machine in the nearby area and it works fine. He knew that the machine would not work and still he sold us the machine for the benefit of his own incentives and target made me feel cheated. This is fraudulency. When I spoke to him on phone he was shouting on top of his voice and called me Fraud instead when I cross questioned him on why you sold the machine when you knew the machine wont work in few days. He said do you even know what you are talking, are you literate? On hearing these words I lost my temper. Is this the way to talk to customers? Doesnt Eureka Forbes believe in customer base building? Is it such a lame company where the Salemen are not taught how to behave with a frustrated customer? Is this how you cheat people just to complete your targets and then you dont even talk nicely to them once the machine is sold??? We asked him to help us with the complaint but he very very rudely replied that this is not my concern and spoke very badly showing his true nature. He also said that do whatever you want I dont care. After this incident we raised a complaint in the service center [on 10th July 2014] and we got the complaint ID: [[protected]]. We were told that Eureka Forbes service is very good, but we now experienced what Eureka Forbes Is after their product is sold. Once the product is sold they dont care about the customer satisfaction or the problems customers face. Its 5 days now and yet not a single person from the technical team has come to the place to fix the machine. Eureka Forbes promised that the customer service would be done within 24Hrs. We do not have filtered drinking water even after spending a huge 15000Rs. We have to buy Bisleri bottles now. Who would pay for these bottles? It feels so frustrating to know that a Brand as big as Eureka Forbes, which claims to be so good in salesmanship and customer service is such bad in reality. "Your advertisements says - We have a water purifier for each condition so that you get pure and safe drinking water" How true is this? Mr Prashant Jadhav has been the worst Salesman i have ever encountered, even though we treated him like our own guest when he came home, this is how he treats us once his target of selling the machine is achieved. Such people should be sacked and sued. It is very late now and some action should be taken by Eureka Forbes to rectify the machine or replace it. We would never recomment Aquaguard to any other person who needs a water filter. The local copied machines and their salesmen are far better than the Eureka Forbes ones. Nothing has happened until now, I have been following up with a technician - Jaywant [[protected]]. Its been 5 days I am calling up this person to tell him to send someone. Every single call he tells me that I am searching for an engineer and will send him to your place within 1 hour and the entire day goes and no one comes.

All of the officials and employees you have are almost lying all the time? Since 5 days he was not able to arrange for a single technician? I do not buy this reason! Dont you have any SLA that some complaint should be rectified within a stipulated time or it marks a bad point on the technician?

I am really feeling bad about buying your product. Its really the worst investment I have made till today. I should have checked this forum before buying. So many complaints daily which are not getting resolved and customers have to post them on this forum.

Mr Bhavesh what u experienced, is the mere truth of eurekaforbes. once they sell the product, they forget to provide service again. the worst experience in this regard i too have at saltlake, kolkata..only difference is i have gone through it during servicing(reference B609F78752 on 9 july 2014).initially the technician, samit sarkar having contact no [protected] came on 12 july and did some work and convinced to do spare work next day and fraudly got signature. But after that day i am calling him each day and he is replying to come just now, but still did't attend. Now over phone misbehaving and saying to call customer care again..they
are big fraud.should we collectively complain against this company before ministry and file PIL against it ??
