Ghumlo India Pvt. Ltd. — False promises made and fradulently used our names to make the booking. Toatl unethical and unprofessional behaviour.

This is in reference with a horrible issue that was resolved by the go ibibo & red bus hotel team regarding our resort booking at amanvana spa & resort in coorg for check in on 22nd sep 2016 and check out 24th sept 2016.

We were initially in talks with the travel agency called ghumlo india pvt. Ltd for making a tour booking for our trip to coorg. They promised us number of things while promoting their agency. I specifically wanted to stay at amanvana so i asked the agent if they have any deals with this resort. The sales agent promised that they will come up with a good deal and got back to us saying that in inr 33000/- they will book the room for 3n4d along with breakfast and dinner and tax all included. They then sent me an email with a whole package cost of 42999/- which included hotel room with breakfast, dinner, tax and transportation (Pick up and drop to airport and car will remain with us at our convenience for 4days). After giving this package details, i sent an email to the travel agent and mentioned all the inclusions of hotel & transport and also confirming that i will pay the package advance of inr 10000/- on the basis of which the entire package will be considered as booked and they will send me the confirmations of the hotel and teh car and the email also mentioned that i will make the balance payment of inr 32999/- on the 2nd day of our trip once i reach the resort. The travel agent agreed to all terms and conditions and sent us a return email confirmation accepting the same.
The next day i received a call from the travel agent mr. Nitin that in inr 10000/- we will only book 1 night in the hotel and nothing else so please transfer more money. I told them this is not what was decided and that i have an email mentioning the same. But he refused to agree. I then called up the resort and confirmed how much amount would they require to make a 3n4d booking and they said the booking for 3n4d can be done by paying inr 15000/-. I told the travel agent mr. Nitin that i will pay 5000/- more as i have already paid 10000/- and you send me the hotel voucher. He kept disagreeing and said that i have to make the full payment of inr 33000/- only then we will send you the hotel voucher. We were furious with their unprofessional behavior. After a long argument we still agreed to make a further payment of inr 10000/- (Total paid was inr 20000/-) to the agent. He then said that now make the payment for the 3rd night only then i will send the hotel voucher. At theis point we were really furious and we argued and argued and asked him to send the 2n voucher atleast as we have already made the payment for 2nights. He then sent the hotel voucher for 2 nights which did not include the dinner as it was promised by them. When we called up the resort to reconfirm our 2n booking they said that this includes breakfast only and no dinner included. We then called up the agent and they said that you pay for the 3rd night and we are working on the dinner inclusion. We refused to do so as we were now unsure of the way things were going. The next day the agent mr. Nitin called us and said that the price for the 3rd night has increased so you have to pay more. This was extremely frustrating. We refused to do so and told them that we do not want to go ahead with their package and that they have already received the payment for 2n so lets close this issue an we will manage the rest of the trip on our own. We sent this on the email and asked to close the matter. We were so frustrated that we even dint bother to argue further for charging more and not including the dinner in the package and amount that they had already taken from us.
We had a hard time as we had to manage the rest of the package 3 days before departure on our own. Later in spite of sending an official email that we do not want to further deal with the agent they kept calling us continuously and threatened us to cancel our hotel booking. When we told them that send this to us in writing on an email they refused and only kept calling. We then came to know from the resort that the booking was made through go ibibo+ red bus so we contacted go ibibo and informed them that not to cancel this particular booking if a request comes from the travel agent ghunlo india pvt. Ltd. As we have made full payment for 2 nights to them and they are threatening us for no reason.
As the go ibibo team had passed the message to their hotel reservation, a day before our travel, we got a call fro red bus hotel team saying that they have received a resort cancellation request from our end. We told them that we have never requested for any cancellation. So the redbus team investigated the issue further. After reading the redbus hotel booking terms and conditions, we came to know that no travel agent is allowed to make any booking through redbus. So the travel agent person had made the booking using their personal phone number and email id and said that the booking is for mr. Nitin and his wife and they used my name as his wife. As i had sent them mine and my husbands pan card copies for making the booking they had few of our personal details which they used while making the booking with redbus. As the redbus agent was now aware that there is some major issue in this booking, he constantly kept us posted as to what was happening. He called up the travel agent and spoke to mr. Nitin and told him that please ask mrs. Sneha takbhate under whose name the resort reservation is to call so that we at redbus can verify a few things and then proceed with the cancellation request. The travel agent person made some girl call up in my name and she asked for a full refund from redbus and cancel the booking. We became aware of all this as we were constantly in touch with mr. Prasad from redbus hotel team.
We then told the redbus agent mr. Prasad that we will send him the passport copies which clearly mentions the spouse names in the second page. Once we sent the copy of passport, the redbus agent called up the travel agent and asked them also to send the passport copy. As the travel agent did not have my or my husbands passport copy they could not provide the same to redbus and later the travel agent were not even answering the calls made to them by redbus. The redbus hotel agent then remade our booking for two nights and resent the confirmation voucher. We then booked the 3rd night from redbus only and we came to know that the booking made by the travel agent was with the same promo code that we used while making the 3rd night booking and it cost the travel agent around inr 7362/- for one night whereas they charged us inr 10000/- per night and also as promised by the agent no dinner was included.
The travel agent cheated us for around rs.5300/- and more so fraudulently used my name and identity while making the booking.
It was the worst ever experience and the way ms. Nishu from ghumlo spoke to us was horrible and she used words like 'aukat nahi hain toh 5 star resorts kyun book karte ho.'
I will request people to please make a note of this and be very careful while making any sort of bookings and prior payments to such small time travel agents.

This is indeed very disheartening that after putting lots of efforts and dedication we are not able to satisfy you.

We firmly believe in serving our clients with utmost respect and priority. We have arranged the bookings for you on such a short notice on the token amount of 10, 000 and you were asking to arrange the whole bookings of hotels on the basis of initial amount. We still managed to provide the bookings of 2 days as the scheduled plan was for 3-4 days.

No travel agent/tour operator will provide the whole bookings on such a short notice on the payment of 25percent of the total amount. Being the consumer so rigid, it becomes very tough to handle the customer and if the customer is not understanding the scenario.

For arranging the advance bookings in hotels, the payment should be released a week before the arrival because of our healthy business alliance with the hotels we are able to pull up the bookings for our guest on the behalf of our staff names. The bookings were made on someone else name so that the clients will not face any issues while they arrive at hotels.
We haven't done anything unethical or unprofessional as we are working in this industry from last 10 year and this is the first instance that we have encountered with such obligations but still, we respect clients feedback and will make sure that this sort of issues will not pop up in future again.

I recently deal with this company for booking my travel tickets and hotel bookings and I must say I has an incredible experience. Their prices were reasonable and the coordination with us during the travel was also appreciable. I recently was searching for them on Google so I came to visit this page where they had a complain about them. I must say they might have some issues before but now they doing too good.

I had been interacting with your sales representative Mr Ankit Aggarwal for the last one week for North East tour. After thorough discussion with him we planned our tour from 04.05.2017 to 12.05.2017 for 6 persons and shortlisted the hotels datewise from the available hotels as told by Mr Aggarwal. He specifically confirmed me yesterday night that hotels selected by us are available and will be booked accordingly. Only after his confirmation and bold assurance I remitted Rs 30000/- in the company’s account today.
I AM REALLY VERY SHOCKED THE WAY YOUR COMPANY SALES PERSON AND OFFICE STAFF IS DEALING WITH THE CUSTOMERS AND THAT TOO AT THE BEGINNING OF BOOKING STAGE, WHAT WORST TO EXPECT WHEN ON TOUR. YOUR MARKETING IS DIFFERENT AND EXECUTION IS BELOW EXPECTATION
I AM GIVING BELOW THE FOLLOWING POINTS OF CONERN:
• My booking for Namchi at hotel Kava Suite was for 07.05.2017, How it has been changed to 06.05.2017
• My hotel booking for Peeling for 06.05.2017 was for Dizzoo de Regency, it has been changed to 07.05.2017 and that too in hotel Delight Hotel Touristo not selected by me
• My booking for hotel at Lachung for 09.05.2017 was to be done for Deligh t hotel, why it has been changed to Apple valley Inn not selected by me
My other bookings at Darjeling at (Hotel Shangrilla regency) and Gantok in Centarl Ninamm are yet to be done
• Revised e mail that Nathula permit fee + taxi charges are included in the tour cost also not received by me simply written charges included
What all this is going on in your company,
“Are customers are at the whims of the company or your Hospitality company serve the customers as per their expectations/tour schedule”
I may make it clear that I want my booking strictly as per dates and as per hotels selected, you may ask Mr Ankit Aggarwal for discussion I had with him in this regard and he also sent me confirmation by e mail (PL see the trailing mail)
If the company is not able to handle my tour as requested I have no other option but to seek refund and cancel tour with you with a bad experience worth referring to others.
Please act fast and resolve the issue. Please also send me the e mail /contact details of your company CEO or Senior most official so that I can bring this to his notice also

Now the matter has been resolved with active personal interest taken by Mr Nitin Malhotra of Ghumlo India Ltd.

1. No taxi was available at airport on our arrival.We had to make 10-12 calls to company officials, Had to stay in sun for more than 2 hours only then a Tata Sumo car came.We have been charged for innova

2.We were provided basic hotel at Darjeeling with tarif 2000 very tight rooms and very small bathroom against assurance to provide 3 star good hotel

3.We were to be provided innova or xylo car but for 3 days (2 at Nachi and one day for journey to Gangtok) but again Tata Sumo provided .

CAN ANY BODY CLARIFY AS CCOMPANY Officials say IT Is NO LAPSE /DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE.They want their. more profit whatever may be the service.They feel shy to admit lapses and are Not Liststening to adjust our tour expenses paid to them.

I m putting this actual experience for public interest to be vigilant of their rights

Kindly refer my previous e mails regarding Ghumlo India P Ltd, Everybody will be surprised to know that till today Company officials have least bothered to redress my complaint, Nor any communication.I have given more than 72 hours to the company but they are dumb in the matter.
Service Tax Rs 9500has also been charged without giving any bill receipts.I will refer to take legal action within a week if company likes to keep silent.

Ghumlo India is a very frivolous tours and travel company. Had the worst experience with them. I would not even recommend it to my enemies.

This company promised us a lot of things, but as soon as token amount was paid, true colors imerged.

They call you incessantly till you pay the amount, after that if we try to call, either they dont pick up ur phone or switched off.

I have recently been to Rajasthan tour with this company, where they provided worst and incompetent service. By the kind of treatment provided by all the parties involved, especially by Nitin Malhotra, trip was so stressful. We could not enjoy our trip at all.

we were assured, drivers were the guides, but on arrivals, we had to book guides ourselves.

We had to beg aeveral times for the booking details to be sent on our mail id. In fact, when it was agreed that payment should be done 40% 35% 25% but on first day complete 100% is extorted.

Due to some problem with my ATM card, i couldnt pay ₹2000, for just that amount, my booking was denied, I had to arrange for my own booking at a hotel room.

The employees are very selfish, fraudulent and are downright ###. Nitin Malhotra, Vikas and Shraddha treated us like ###.

Everytime you call their CUSTOMER CARE, you have to explain your problem to a new guy, and eventually you are told everytime very rudely about the company's policies.

If you want your trip to be stressfree, refreshing and rejoicing you have got to avoid Ghumlo India!

Aur jab me manali pahuch gaya tab me bus stand pe apni family ke sath 2 ghant tak khada raha mujhe koi taxi lene nhi aayi kai baar phone lagane ke baad bhi, fir uske baad hotel aaya to room bhi nhi mila mujhe mujhe family suite rooms ka kaha gaya tha lekin mujhe room single diya gaya jab maine Mr. Nitin and sales person se kaha to wo mujhse dis arguments karne lage. Aur to aur mujhe damki bhi di ki taxi arrange karne wale Mr Harjinder ne ki me manali ka hu soch lena ki meri mere paise 6000/- rs do warna me hotel me aake halla karuga. jabki mera sab kuch package me tha.
Fir maine Mr. Nitin se baat ki to bole apko dena padega jabki wo package me include tha aur scene side visit karwayegi wo taxi sirf mujhe bustand se hotel drop karne ayi thi maximum 2 km hai uska 6000/- rs me family ke sath tha isiliye mujhe dena pada majburi kyoki me bahar tha out of station tha. Wo bolte hai na apni gali me to kutta bhi sher hota hai.

Mr. Abhishek, Mr Nitin and Mrs Nishu ye log mera sath package ki deal kar rahe the. Mujhe koi achi service nhi mili na hi hotel mujhe khud ko ghumne ke liye alag se taxi karni padi extra paise deke

So please Ghomlo india pvt.ltd walo agar apko aisa karna hai logo ko lutna hai to plz ye company band kar do logo ka paisa haram ka nhi hai.
