They wanted me to send my ID and Credit Card photo in email to "verify" my identity. Their website security is high risk and sending such sensitive information over email is very risky. Without knowing what their policy is on storing such sensitive information, I denied their request for obtaining the documents and asked to cancel and refund.
Two days later, they debited my account anyways for the order and don't reply to emails anymore.
I will be marking the transaction as fraud after the mandatory 10 days for merchant to reply and let the bank deal with this incompetent company for fraud. Was this information helpful? |
