Godrej Interio — inordinate delay in delivery | |||
I have placed an order for a dining table (Jack model) and 4 nos. Of chairs (Crystal model) on 17/08/17 at the park street, kolkata showroom. My customer code is: wwc000047. Cheque payment receipt no. 50353. Order confirmation form no. 335527. The planned delivery schedule is on the "1st week of september (Urgent)". It's been 3 weeks since i have ordered the item and still the delivery is pending. I think it is very unprofessional on the part of godrej interio. I had a family function on the 10th of september at my residence. I had to cancel the event. I would like to know how would godrej interio compensate me for this personal embarrassment that i faced. The sales guy of park street kolkata showroom has replied to my mail saying the transit period for the product i have bought is another 9-10 days (Tentative). That makes it a delay of a minimum of 15 days from the scheduled planned delivery days (1st week of sep) and i have bought the product on 17th of august! I feel, it is inordinate delay, and godrej interio must compensate me monetarily or in the form of a gift that may be a piece of furniture. Look, there should be some kind of a compensation.
