I have got a Whatsapp message all of a sudden from a company called Grand Vivanta informing that we were invited for a high tea and we will be provided 2 nights free holiday package and Movie ticket voucher. When I replied, I got a call and she informed that its not fake or fraud, its in a 5 star hotel in Bangalore and we do not have to attend any meetings like country club. We were curious and We went for the same. After reached, we were asked to sit in a table and a number of agents came to discuss a lot of things. He also had a card swiping machine. He explained many things about holiday and we said directly that we are not
interested. However, they were pushing and forcing my wife to take the holiday package despite I asked that we were not interested. They have told many things and they also had a browser which had images of 5 star hotels etc which was totally fake. Somehow they have convinced her to "A Trial" package and said we do not have to pay anything untill we take our first holiday (He told something about bonus holiday). He said if we like our first vacation, we will have to pay 1, 50, 000 for no cost emi of 24 month. We somehow agreed and said ok. Then he asked for my
credit card just to check if its eligible for a no cost emi. There were many MAN surrounding me, wife and my kid which scared us. I took out my card and he just tapped it in the machine saying he is just checking. Then he said he is not able to check and he need PIN. I had to provide it. And he didnt show me anything except that I am eligible. Later he gave me some welcome letter and we came. When I came home at night I saw the deduction of money. When called them, they never responded. They later sent me welcome mail and a fraud membership website credentials. Their customer care never responds. They do not have tie up with any 5 star hotels. They just fake everything. I got a statement from back that I have to day 1, 50, 000 plus a 14.99% interest for 24 months. Its just sick of this fraud company. I want my money back.
