I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Goibibo for unfair practices and financial loss caused due to their negligence and technical issues.
I had booked a flight ticket from Mumbai to Varanasi through Goibibo. However, without my consent or any prior intimation, my ticket was cancelled by Goibibo due to their internal technical issue. This unexpected cancellation disrupted my travel plans and forced me to cancel my return ticket from Lucknow to Mumbai as well.
Despite the cancellation being initiated from Goibibo’s end, I have been wrongfully charged a penalty of INR 3, 000. Furthermore, my refund has not been processed appropriately. This is highly unjust, as the cancellation was not initiated by me, and I should not be liable for any charges arising from their system failure.
I request your intervention in this matter to:
1. Ensure a full refund of all the charges deducted.
2. Take appropriate action against Goibibo for their unfair and negligent conduct.
I have attached all relevant booking details and communication records for your reference. I hope for a fair resolution at the earliest.
