[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — DP Charges Fraud - ICICI

I have received a fraud call from[protected], just in 10 mins after the above post. The person claims himself to be an employee from ICICI. ICICI customer service works from 7AM to 7PM. This person called me @ 11:30 PM. He was forcing me to share the debit card number to revert the money back, however I have not shared any info with him. Also, he was asking me whether it is a salary account or not and what's the total available balance in the account. When he is from ICICI, he should be having access to my account. Guys...BE CAREFUL...

My name is Munikrishna K. In August 12th, 2016 my account has deduct Rs.681. Due to 01506780 DP charges Till jun-16. I'm not using demat account whenever. Then how to deduct charges I don't know. Please refund my money as soon as possible. My account number is:[protected] and my mobile number is [protected]. This is like a fraud. I'm not agree to this. Without prior information, then how to detect. Fraud fraud...,

Two days back ICICI bank deducted DP charges from my account, ICICI bank is raising fund through fraud way. May be they would have raised crores of rupees through this fradulant practice.
This is absolutely rubbish iam holding this account for 15 years and I think it's time to close this account and stop using ICICI products as they are number one cheat.

I also face the same issue, and talked to customer care. They charged this as annual fee wheater you are going to use demat account or not and If you want to close Demat account they make you visit the branch and submit a form to close Demat Account or Download Demat closure form from

fill it and send to their mumbai address which is mentioned in from.
They makes everything is available online by which the can make profit but not this.
And once you say that you want a personal loan or anything they will keep calling you and will send their employee to your door to get it done but not this.

The same fraud has been done to me also. I never used demat account but they debited the charges. My account is salaried account in nestle, during account opening the representative asked me to open demat account also since it's free of cost and no hidden charges also. He did the same. But now the amount has been debited. Pls credit back the amount and deactivate the account to stop further debits. Screenshot is attached for reference.

Its really fraud..even while opening Dmat account with icici they didnt told me about the annual charges..and deducted 805Rs. yesterday..u guys are taking brokerage and annual charges..this is not fair..pls do the needful.

same think happened for me they deducted Rs.779.55 as 63319957 DP CHGS Till OCT. This is complexly Big cheat. When we are purchasing anything we are getting messages and when they deducted money they are not sending any message. I am Mahendran P my account number is[protected], No star for this cheating.

I also faced the same issue., after Continuously followup with customers care till date not resolve, I also want my money back. Approx Rs.2050/- deducted from my accounts.ICICI Bank is doing a cheating with there customers.

Its a question to the ICICI Bank is like why you people are deducting the money from the accounts without any prior information?

I was being told that no charges will be deducted but they deducted the amt of 550 without any information.

Today DP charges has been taken from my Account..Though when i opened my Demat linked Saving bank account it has been told to me that it is zero balance and Demat will never be charged. Now Demat is also getting charged and my Saving bank account is no more Zero Balance...

Ridiculous banking system...

ICICI representative has told that free for the lifetime, its stupid false given, making us stupid.

I have a Demat account in ICICI bank for 1.5 years now. When I checked my bank transactions and I found that there is one debit transaction of INR 1322. When I created the Demat account, I was not told about the DP charges, it was told to me by the ICICI representative that it is free of cost and it will never be charged and also I did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with ICICI. My ICICI account number is[protected]. This is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount. My phone number is [protected]. Please take strict action regarding this frauds.
