[Resolved]  Icici Lombard — vehicle claim

My client Sri Kaushik Duggi Sahu Hyderabad got his vehicle insured in your icici lombard Hyderabad bearing vehicle No.A.P.-20-AA-3456 and the insurance policy No.3001/86186642/00/B00. The said vehicle met with an accident on[protected] at 5-30 PM near Kothakot Mehaboob Nagar Distrct Telangana State. Sir my client informed about the accident to your good offices and all the required documents had been submitted. The claim No.MOTO3936367. In this regard i have to make mention here that the claim was rejected stating that my client has given a sale letter on white paper that he has sold the vehicle to somebody else. Actually my client does not know about the letter and the vehicle has not transfered to any body. The vehicle still stands in the name of my client and my client also availed a vehicle loan from HDFC bank Hyderabad. So my client is the obsolute owner of the vehicle. As per the insurance terms and conditions the vehicle if sold somebody else it must be registerd in the records of the Road Transport Authority RC copy of the vehicle should be named on the new owner and then only policy can be transfered to new owner of vehicle..So please look in to the matter and do the justice to my client.Being an advocate i am advising the people to make insurance with ICICI Lombard because the claims are disposed very quckly.
