[Resolved] ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — ECS was activated without approval and Payment dishonour charges were deducted. | |||
My mom have an account with ICICI prudential and the yearly renewal was not supposed to be made by through ECS. She did not sign up for ECS when she started this policy but still the ICICI team enabled it and deducted payment dishonor charges for their mistake. We have been contacting them over email for the last 45 days and every time there will be a new person responding to our email asking us to make the payment and not worried about the charges which was deducted from our account. Not even a single person from ICICI Prudential has been assigned specifically for this case and resolved the issue. In between someone named Annamalai from Anna nagar branch visited our home saying he was asked to explain about the policy from Mumbai team and when we explained the issue he said he will get back the next day. As usual we called him for couple of days and finally he spoke with us saying that this will be taken care at the back end and refund will be initiated. I asked him to confirm it over an email and till date no response nor a resolution for our issue.
