The selection procedure for NIFT, Fashion Design was totally in confuse state.
The Board displayed in the counseling Hal at Delhi showed most of the seats for top course like FD & AD were almost on the first day of the counseling. Candidates who got rank of 250 were unable to get FD & AD courses. This led of confusion among the candidates & parents who were present in the counseling...

The counseling for Fashion Design at NIFT for the FY 2010-11 was conducted in the month of June'2011.
Students who short listed and were awaiting for the 12th class results which was withheld were asked to come with their marks card.When they came with marks sheet to New Delhi the member present in the counseling Hall rejected stating it was already late.

Poor selection /counselling procedure

Selection for for the course Bachelors of Design in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for the academic year 2011 was very poor. Good ranker were not considered for Top courses.
This is because they had introduced open quota system wherein candidates with ranks of above 700 got selected top courses Fashion Design leaving the good ranker below 300 to opt for lesser courses.

As per my Knowledge No reservation according only domicile candidate
if its not filled by domicile hence must be filled by all

But Nift - New Delhi not allowed it to be filled by general category Hence result is that all
domicile seat in B design vacant more then 30 seat

Its the loss of Nation because about 30 seat are vacant for 4 year (fee income from student Rs approx 400000X30=[protected]...

Courier not delivered

Respected sir,
I had sent a courier on 8. 04. 2009 from new delhi to siwn (Bihar) which consisted books by the professional couriers agency. I was told that the courier will reach in 3 - 4 days and it has not yet reached till yet. And when i went to enquire unprofessional and non co - operative behaviour was shown and the guy at the agency has indecent behaviour and also he gave me wrong number.
This on their part is wrong...

Unprofessional behaviour

Reasepted sir,
I had sent a courier to district siwan (Bihar) on 8th april 2009 which consisted books from the professional couriers, hks, new delhi. The person responsible said that the courier will reach in 3 - 4 days but it has been 9 days and it has not reached yet. I went to inquire the person and he gave me wrong number and also he did not take correct steps to rectify the situation. He has charged me rs 90 / - for the service...
