I had put in the above complain as there is a sound coming from my AC (Model No LSA 3cG2AFI), which was purchased in June 2010. The service engineer checked the machine and informed me that the motor needs to be changed.
However, today (April 9) I got a call from your representative, Mr B Debnath, who told us that the part is no longer in production and I have to purchase a new machine in place of my existing one.
I can’t understand how come a machine which is not even 5 years old is not serviceable and spare parts for such machines are not available.
If spares are not available, why did the company entered into an Annual Maintenance Contract on 30.9.2013 valid for three years. The AMC clearly says “All defective components shall be
replaced with compatible working parts”.
This is to let you know that I have no intention of purchasing a new machine and your company should repair/replace the defective part at no cost.
I am shocked to see that your company has sold a product which has broken down within 5 years of purchase, and you are unable to rectify the problem even when the machine is under AMC. If you have sold a machine, you should carry enough stock of spare parts to service such machines.
I didn’t expect such horrible customer service from your company. I always purchased LG machines (I have three other LG ACs) because I thought you provide excellent customer service
If you can’t provide the service you have promised then I have no option but to purchase a new machine from some other company and take your company to Consumer Forum. You have no right to take your customers for granted. Was this information helpful? |
