I bought a Smartphone LG E988 (SR [protected]) from Chroma Retails store for Rs.27994 on 12 Jan'14. While using it I found that Upper part of the screen has gone black. (Internal Defect)
I went to the service center in Nehru Place where they offered me a repair of the same saying that the whole front panel of the phone would be changed as the screen has gone bad. Why would i want a repair if my phone has gone bad in less than 20 Days.
I am wondering how an electronic product can be bad in just less than 20 Days and I think this would keep giving problems in future as well.
The phone is Brand new with no scratch but company officials are not ready to replace the phone even though they know that product itself has gone bad.
Talked with Satish Bhati (ASM) [protected] but he is also not ready to consider this request appropriately.
I believe I should get a replacement phone as its been just 3 weeks and phone started giving me problems. I don't want to use a brand new phone which has been opened for repair.
This has seriously turned my experience with LG in a worst way it would make me think twice to buy an LG product in future.
I want a replacement of my mobile so I don't want a repaired phone.
I would escalate this to Higher Authorities if required.
