LG Electronics — Regarding False Customer Servicea

My lgg3 sim tray broke a day ago and I went to an lg customer care center and asked if they could fix it.After making me wait for some time they called me and said that they had to replace the whole motherboard.I've done some research and had found that the sim tray module can be replaced without removing the whole motherboard.when I asked them that they rudely said that they can't do it and I must replace the motherboard and it will cost me 9000rupees.When I approached another mobile repair shop they said they can replace the aim module via micro soldering and it'll cost me only 1000.Is this how lg trays its customers .Please take action against this case..
