My mother had purchased a split AC (LG brand) in year 2010. The AC started showing problem within first year . We could understand it subsequent summer and made the complaint. But it was out of warranty already and we had to make the payment for the gas refill as was informed by the service center. But within 2 months the problem was back. As the summer was majorly out by that time, we made complaint . The local service head arranged for free gas refill which helped for the year. But it was out again in 2012. The service center tried for everything, but could not find the leakage route, but they charged for the refill and tried to manage for the summer ( it took 2 months for them to do so). In 2013, same problem recurred. Service team removed the system from our home and tried to find solution for 2 months. Some part was changed and we had to pay for it ( approx Rs. 4000). But the problem did not get resolved. In 2014, service team recommended for return of the system and apply for refund. It has been 7 months that the papers has been submitted by the local service center to the LG customer care. I have followed for last 7 months for 30 times wit the customer care center.
