We 6 office colleague were going prem mandir and on the way when we stopped to check the address one pundit just gave us a good brain wash on gokul temple. He said first we have to go to gokul then to janam bhoomi and then to other temples. He said he will charge on rs. 100/- for all the temples that gokul, ramanrethi and janam bhoomi. We went with him to ramanrethi where he said krishna played in that sand. Then he took us to the gokul temple. On the way he kept telling us stories about krishna. He told us that if we take darshan here then we need not take our parents for the four dham yatra. Also our family will be in good health etc. He asked us to buy flower and prasad which we denied. Then he made us sit in front of the door of the temple and gave a story again and said you have to only willingly pay the donation to the registered trust and not pay anything to any pundit. We six o[censored]s were only let inside and the priest asked us to crawl on the knees and sit before the idol. The priest gave a good lecture for 15 minutes with maximum focus on donation. I agreed for rs. 501/- but he told me that i should pay rs. 1, 150/- and other boys need not pay. When i agreed and paid he gave me a couple of flowers and asked me to offer to god where one pundit guided me and asked me to put some cash offering and and i paid rs. 100/-. The priest had quoted three types of offering rs. 251/-, rs. 501/- and rs. 1, 150/-. He then went on with my colleague and pushed them to pay rs. 501/- (One of them) and rs. 251/- (To the other four). The cashier siting in front of him collected the money and gave a receipt. The other pundit took rs. 50/- each from all my five friends.

It was really like a hypnotism which was done on us because we came out of the temple and then we took off on the pundit who was our guide. He was quite and said it was wrong etc but we know its a routine for them and more people will be cheated.

They are killing the peoples faith in god but looting people in this fashion. I request you to please take strict action or guide me to take it up further so that no other devotee are trapped and cheated.
