OSS Retails Pvt Limited — Non-delivery of ticketing service and appropriation of money

I run a small company called DIMENSIONS in Kolkata.Our main business since 2008 has been to book classifieds for The Times of India and other newspapers belonging to Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited.In March 2010, I was approached by Mir Asif Iqbal of OSS Retails Pvt Limited.This company is based in Malad, Mumbai.Mr Iqbal said that by paying Rs 10000/- I could become a franchisee of One Stop Shop(OSS).I would then be able to book train and air-tickets from my office.It seemed like a good idea and so I became a franchisee immediately.For one year everything was okay.Then in mid-2011 the rail-ticket service of OSS called railticketonline.com began to go under maintenance.For long periods the service would not be available.I had to refuse customers many times.However other services like flight tickets, mobile & DTH recharge was working nearly all the time.The problem continued through 2012.At the end of that year OSS asked all business partners or franchisees Rs 20000/-.for continuing to use rail services.Nearly all o[censored]s paid the amount because we believed in OSS till then.The services continued to work for around two months after which all the oss websites(railticketonline, flightsafar, mobileseva) went under maintenance.In 2013 OSS closed its Kolkata office.In March 2013, OSS took away our balance which we used to deposit in ICICI Bank for doing ticketing and recharge.They changed our BP Codes and asked us to deposit more money into our new codes.Most o[censored]s deposited the money for the sake of business.But around October of last year OSS took away that money too.All this while their websites were working sometimes and were sometimes under maintenance.Last week all their websites disappeared.Their helpline numbers no longer exist.It seems OSS has fled with our money.I have lost Rs 50, 000.But there are 60, 000 franchisees of OSS all over India and our collective loss runs into tens of crores.I do not know who can help us recover our money.Maybe, the police and government can.My contact details are: Ayan Bhattacharya Mobile:[protected] Address:W2C 5/6, Phase 2, Golf Green, Kolkata-700095.
