I booked OYO 29692 hotel kalpataru on 2nd June around 4:20 pm. I was asked to make the payment online via OYO app to confirm the booking and I did so to confirm my booking. But when I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me they're not taking online booking from Oyo due to price issues and when I said that I've already made the payment, he told me to talk with customer care. So I denied check-in and it was a very bad experience. After all when I reached the "need help" section on OYO app, I was asked either to shift my booking to a new place or to cancel the booking. I chose to cancel the booking as I decided not to book any hotel right then. But after that, they showed the refund amount as 0 and took whole money as cancellation fees, though I was bound to cancel my booking after paying the price since I denied check-in at the hotel. Basically it was thier negligence and I suffered a lot and even they are not refunding my amount. I tried to talk with their customer care many times, but I couldn't reach.
