Philips India — LED TV not working even after replacing motherboard by philips service centre | |||||
I have purchased philips TV from a local dealer M/S. Core Electronics at Belgaum, Karnataka on 7- 8- 2013. the model no. is 32PFL7977/V7, 42PFL7977/V7.It worked well for almost a year and a half.Suddenly it developed a problem. The channels stopped changing using the remote, for almost 15-- 20 minutes. During that period the LED indicator use to vanish. After LED indicator brightens again the channels could be changed. I referred the problem to the dealer who promptly guided me to your service centre at Belgaum. I was told that there is a fault with the mother board which is required to be changed. I had hardly any option so i got the mother board changed.This was in the year 2015. The warranty i was told is three months.Indeed it worked well for three months. Since last month it is giving the same problem again. I don't think a world renowned brand like philips works well only till warranty lasts.I am a retired professor who has been using philips since good old radio days. When all my family members were for a brand like samsung or LG i put my faith in philips. I request you to guide me what further action i must take to rectify this problem. I sincerely hope you will prove that my faith in the brand was not unfounded Was this information helpful? | |||||
