[Resolved] Racold — ng fired gas geyser 5l | |||
I bought a racold natural gas fired gas geyser 5l on 8th april 2017 (Model dgi 5l cf lp led ng) and installed by authorized installers by the supplier of racold on my mgl connection. It was supplied thru m/s bg distributor. This was a replacement of my racold make ng geyser of almost same model which i was using with no issues from 2003 or so. We were facing persistent problem in gas geyser lighting everytime and we had to repeatedly try before the gas geyser starts to fire. We filed complaint with racold and their technician advised us to give 2 min delay between firing each time, as they said it had a thermostat built-in. Even following this we had a problem and our complaint brought in another technician who advised us to use a 1.5v cell of everready make. He replaced the batteries (Dec 2016 make) with mar 2017 make and said that was the problem. He charged me for the batteries. He said that these cells come for only 2 months and need to be changed often. I was already using a racold of similar make for over ten years and i found this advice strange. Now after 15 days of his second technician visit, the problem is recurring. If there is a manufacturing defect racold should have rectified it, instead of giving "lame" excuses and we are the sufferers. This we call as "very bad customer service" and using untrained service technicians. Was this information helpful? | |||

Some Technician from Racold came yesterday. He opened the unit and made adjustments. He said that there was a issue in the thermostat adjustment when the unit was supplied and he corrected the same.
He wanted me to observe the unit for a week and get back to Cust service, in case of recurrence.
Hence will confirm status after a week.

No water comes in outlet of solar tank .Floot wall and salt problem.blokage by salt facing 5 times in periodic time of 15 days we get bad result of product.pls solve problems.many times I call distributor he cannot solve problems.our whole family facing problems
