Reliance Jewels — gift card magnetic strip is not readable | |
I received a reliance jewels gift card from friends on wedding. I went to reliance jewels shop to purchase some item and after finalizing item i gave gift card for bill payment. Store person told me that on swiping card in machine, its not reading the magnetic strip. I called up my friend to ask from where and how much money is loaded, also did he checked the card working or not. He told me card was purchased from reliance jewels store, jayanagar, bangalore and loaded with 10 thousand rupees, and did not checked if it was working. I raised issue with reliance customer care team to re-issue the card as the current card is not readable. The response i got is really frustrating, reply i got is "we regret to inform you that gift card once expired/damaged or lost cannot be extended or re-validated". This means 10k gone in drain.
