[Resolved]  Samsung — Defective TV

I had purchased one samsung tv model no. Ua32k5300arlxl serial no. Oabn3pa57039466b on 25.09.2018.
This tv is an additional tv in my house in a bedroom and is not extensively used. Once the tv is started, it shows picture for 15/20 minutes and then goes blank. On complaint the company mechanic (Call no. Ref. [protected]) had inspected the tv on 15.09.2020 and stated that part nos. Bn95-04223a and bn94-10761b needs to be replaced and gave an estimate of rs. 12055.00 for repair.
I find it very strange that the tv has conked out in less than two years in the usage mentioned above. It is very clear that the product itself was not of the quality samsung is known for. I, in effect, i am being penalised for the faulty product.
I am really anguished because of the fact that i bought a world class product and the same has conked out in such a meagre use. On complaint, i am given a stock reply by email from the company that the warrenty period is over. One ms sushmita and thereafter mr. Deepak bailwal from samsung called me over phone and assured me that they would come back to me. They never bothered to call back.
I have boiught a reputed product of samsung on the expectation and belief that a certain quality assurance is there and the product contains quality components and would last for a reasonable time. I have paid perhaps double the price for a samsung product as compared to a similar product by a less reputed brand. Now i find that whether it is samsung or another brand, the quality of components are same.
This unfortunate experience has brought to fore how such companies take their customer for a ride.
