[Resolved]  Samsung — false water resistant claim by samsung about s7 edge

I, have been a long time and a loyal customer of samsung company from last 2 decades from phones, ac to fridge everything at my home is of samsung, but my recent experience with a premium top-end smartphone s7 edge has really spoiled the image and trust over samsung. My issue is with my s7 edge which was damaged with few splashes of rain water.
Last week there was heavy rainfall in our area. I &my wife we both were carrying our samsung s7 edge premium phones in rainfall as this phone is water resistant so we were quite confident to take phones with us in rain (As per specification it is water resistant upto 5 feet of water for 30 minutes) but with few splashes of water has spoiled one of our phone. I have given my phone on 04.10.17 at samsung service center (Ambey communication with bill no. [protected]) for repairing as it is in warranty and water resistant but within few hours i got a call from service center saying that repairing cost of your phone is rs 28951. When i have given my phone for service the phone was in working condition but camera was not working. It was very surprising that they are asking me to pay money for failure of main feature of company’s high end phone. I again visited to customer care center & talk to their representative, he told me we don’t know how water came inside the phone but water came inside means warranty is void no matter what the situation was. I told him that water could go inside because of faulty device but they don’t want to understand. I also met service center head he said we were not with u at that moment so we don’t know what happened at that time but if water has gone inside phone then it would be considered as customer’s fault only and we are not liable for any warranty. They insisted me to pay rs.28951 for the repairing of the device otherwise they told me to take my device back as it is. I can’t even understand why the service centers have this opinion that customer is always at fault and they are playing a blaming game.
I have the inside snaps of my phone taken at the service center. The company assures that the phone is water resistant upto 5 feet of water for 30 minutes, but few splashes of rain water has spoiled my phone totally. Now my phone is lying with the service center as they have quoted me rs. 28951 worth of repair which for me is totally unacceptable, being a long time loyal costumer of samsung and owning a premium smartphone, still i am not being provided with an acceptable solution for my issue rather i feel, i am being penalized as a customer. The service center after quoting me rs. 28951 refused to help me and told me to talk to customer care on my own. So, my kind request to the higher authorities here is to please look into this matter as firstly being provided with a smartphone worth of rs. 50, 900 with manufacturing defect, leading to water damage to my phone, which is now lying with the service center from last so many days.
I have sent mail with the intention of being provided a solution to my phone, to seniors but no action was taken place till date so i do not have any other options to go to consumer court to find justice.
