Hi,
I have purchased a Samsung A7 (SM-A710F) handset in last year July 2016. Unfortunately the display of this device got damaged in last month and hence I have contact the nearest service center for help. The service representative suggested that the display need to be replaced and I will have handover the handset to the service center for the replacement which will take approx. 5-6 days. The date was 8th March 2017 and the CRM number is [protected].
It is almost 13 days now and there is no progress on this. when I call the service center the response I get is the spares are not available and it is going to take some more time.
I purchased this device for INR 26, 000 and it is not even one year the display got damaged. For the replacement of the display the service center is charging INR 7800 which itself is huge amount (it is possible to even buy a new mobile handset with good specifications using this amount). Even after charging this much huge amount for the spare part Samsung is taking this much time to make the spare part available is not all encouraging to the customers like me.
This is pathetic and Samsung should improve the services in the competitive market like India otherwise it will be difficult for Samsung to survive in the market like India.
I hope Samsung will take this seriously and will take necessary steps to help the customers.
