Our washing machine is out of warranty. One day we found an error message and called up customer care.
Technician visited our home and diagnosed that drum needs to be replaced. Everything else was working fine. We called up service center and agreed to pay INR 6000 for replacement of drum. We were informed that a technician would come to our house and replace the drum.
On 11th feb while we were waiting for technician, we got a call from service center that it would not be possible to replace the drum at our house and instead the washing machine needs to be carried to service center.
We were surprised by this last minute change. We called up Samsung customer care and requested that drum replacement service is provided at our home.
As we didn’t get any firm commitment, we hesitatingly agreed to handover the washing machine to service center
After it was taken to service center, one day we got a call that after replacement of new drum, the washing machine door is not getting closed & the motherboard has also stopped working and needs to be repaired.
We were shocked to hear about motherboard as when the washing machine was diagnosed at our place, the mother board was perfectly fine.
We have strong reasons to believe that there is a foul play from service center and request Samsung to get the washing machine repaired within the original quote of 6000. ”. We are willing to pay 6000 which was qouted to us when washing machine was taken away from our home. We always wanted to get the drum replaced at our place fearing this eventuality.
