I had purchased a Samsung Refrigerator on 29/09/2015. Refrigerator has stopped working and I had put a complaint for the same. The technician visited my place and according to him the compressor is not working.
And I cannot claim for a warranty for this because I do not have the barcode sticker behind my refrigerator. I do have the invoice of the Refrigerator.
Since last 6 years the Refrigerator is cleaned regularly due to dust issues.
And the sticker might have been faded or removed.
I fail to understand how this voids my warranty and how should I be penalised for the same. If this sticker was so critical then it should have been embossed or some better pasting mechanism should have been used by Samsung.
Note I do have the original bill of the same. Currently I am facing lots of issued as the Refrigerator is not working.
I would appreciate if Samsung India looks into the matter and give a solution for the same and help me claim the warranty.
