Samsung — Samsung galaxy m30s

I have been using samsung galaxy m30s for around 2 years. i have done the updates regularly. Few days ago i had done an update. The next day while casually browsing the phone, the screen got hanged for few seconds and then suddenly the brand name starts to show. I had enquired about it to nearby samsung service center and they have told that your motherboard have to be replaced and it will cost around 6000rs. While referring google it says that its a common problem to Mseries.
If its a common problem then the samsung has to replace the motherboard free for users who uses phone in a particular time span ( three years minimum).
