[Resolved] Samsung — Samsung not honouring the Warranty | |
I purchased Samsung 64 inch plasma last year from Sargam Electronics, Pitam Pura, under 3 year warranty scheme. Exactly after a year, my TV started giving me problems. I called up toll free support number and they said its under warranty. The engineer came and inspected to replace the power board. The service centre guys denied the replacement and bluntly told me that its not under warranty. I again called support desk and they said it is under warranty. Service centre guy again denied. Then he agreed on free service for labour charges after seeing the documents. From Samsung online service support I found that spares are also covered for my TV.
Neither Samsung support nor their service centre are able to provide a solution. They are forcing me to buy the spare parts irrespective of fact that TV is under warranty and covers both spare and labour cost.
Pathetic company, pathetic service. Alas, I should have gone for Panasonic or Sony. Koreans are and so does its indian partners. Don't buy Samsung.
