Samsung — Service station misleading behaviour | |||
My phone is under warranty and went to Service station for replacement. Without even seeing the phone properly the staff and owner jumped to conclusion that screen has been damaged by impact by me. I asked them to check it, to which they could not see anything wrong not impact signs externally noted. Then they took some photos and loaded in the samsung service system declaring out of warranty. Needless to say, they told the price for new screen and have very limited stock, so heuury up. Anyway I went to other service station, showed the same phone. They inspected in externally and said that they need to check internally aswell. I agree, after 30mins they concluded that the screen has malfiunctioned and can be replaced under warranty free of charge. However the earlier service station had already goofed the entries for my phone in records, they could not register a new service number for it. I am still struggling to have it rectified within warranty. But folks be carful since all service centres are owned private and they try to squeeze out money which can be avoided.
