[Resolved] Samsung — Spot on the screen after 7 months of purchase but not covered under warranty
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S4, it's 7 months old. A couple of days before i've observed a spot on the screen which is slowly expanding, when i contacted the service center they said it's due to sweat, Hence can't be covered under warranty. I am using the S Health (Pre installed application by Samsung) app quite regularly, when the mobile build can't tolerate slight amounts of sweat why did they provide their users with S Health App. No where in the Quick start Guide/Website/S Health app/Disclaimer they've mentioned about the adverse effects o[censored]sing S Health and their chances of disclaiming the warranty. When you put a Price tag of more than Rs 30000/- consumer expects minimum reliability towards sweat and other natural processes. No where in the Booklets/web you've mentioned about the range of Humidity. I just want to claim this problem under warranty. Was this information helpful?
