[Resolved] Shopmantra — Fraud debit card transaction of rs.9000 | |||||
Dear sir/ madam, I am deepak saravanan n and i am using sbi debit card. I want to bring it to your kind notice that on 22/06/2016 i received a call from the cell no : [protected] confirming that they are calling on behalf of sbi credit card division. You are using our debit card and having maintained a good track record of your debit card. They mentioned that my current credit card will expire this month. Unfortunately my sbi card doesnt have an expiry date as i had received it as a package when i joined my company.In this way he obtained all particulars from me on phone. When i tried to refuse by saying that why should i tell you my confidential details she further stated that for matching your particulars i am sending you a six digit number on your phone. She send this six digit number on my phone and ask me to confirm the same. She further confirmed that no charges will be debited to my debit card account. Immediately i got a message on my phone that transaction made on sbi credit card xx2700 of rs.9, 000.00 on pos [protected] at shopmantraa_epaykerela on 22 april 15 txn#[protected]. At this moment only i got to know this is a fraud call. I believe sbi could definetly track this transaction and get the money back from merchandise. Kindly help me in getting this amount back.
