Tata Docomo — Tata DoCoMo - Irritating and Unwanted Service Messages (Popup Messages of Data Usage / Balance) | |||
Tata Docomo I am using Tata Docomo no. +91 [protected] purely for 3G data plans in my mobile handset Micromax Android One (Version 5.1.1) I get this irritating USSD message pop up 100 times in a minute with Tata Docomo Data Usage. The GPRS or 3G data keeps frequently connecting & disconnecting every minute depending upon the applications and my usage. But every time it disconnects I receive a service message popup on my screen about Data used and Balance in my plan. I have to keep pressing OK to close these popup messages. These messages are very annoying during day and night and cannot be disabled or muted by handset feature. It is a USSD message and can be disabled by service provider only. A friend of mine who uses IDEA services was facing same problem with Idea SIM card also, however Idea have provided a USSD Code *121*46# to disable these unwanted popup messages of data used / balance. Does Tata Docomo have a similar USSD code for disabling these messages? Request you to kindly disable this or give me the USSD short code which I can dial from handset. In this regards, we would like to inform you that, in order to stop the flash messages which you are receiving, We request you to turn off the service messages option in the message settings of your handset as Message settings > push/flash/service messages > receiving options > off mode. However you may also visit mobile service centre for better assistance regarding the same. Kindly note that the flash message you are receiving is a feature based on handset support. It can be deactivated through the DIVE-IN option available as pop up/push messages in your handset. You will get the deactivation option to cancel this service.
