[Resolved] Tikona — Billing issues and harassment | |||||
I am Kaushik Birmiwal, I had lodged a Tikona disconnection (connection no [protected]) in May 2016 as I was moving out of the apartment in few days time. I requested the Tikona customer care people to disconnect the connection right away but they kept insisting me not to continue the connection, rather transfer the connection to your new location or to your friend/relative to which I clearly said NO and told to disconnect the connection for which they said confirmed about the disconnection. From June onward, I started receiving calls from them to pay the outstanding bill for the connection to which everytime I told them the same story for disconnection request which was made in May, to which everytime they responded saying it is a mistake from their end and it will be resolved soon. Despite this, I have time and again emphasized that I will pay the bill of 45 days, the duration for which, I had used the connection. Everytime I was assured by your customer care that they will raise a fresh bill and then I can clear the dues. Today (12th September 2016) I received a threatening mail stating that I need to pay rs 1500 to Tikona else he will drag me to court. Requesting you to please let me know the procedure to sue Tikona into court as I have all the necessary proofs with me to take this forward. I have written mails to Tikona to which Tikona always called and insisted that I transfer the connection rather than getting disconnected. Regards, Kaushik Was this information helpful? | |||||
