Times India Travel — fraud about holiday package

on 24th july evening i got a call from [protected] a lady named sunaina(fake name i guess) calling from times group of mumbai metro and said that while doing online shopping from flipkart they have got my email.id and i have won a holiday package worth rs.4999 for 2 persons for 3 days 2 nights with 1 yr validity and a assured gift of either of three..dell lappy, iphone 5s, samsung led..i just have to pay the amount and give them the address on which they will be sending my gift within 24-48hrs. They introduced themselves as associates from times company of india. But since i was busy so i asked them to call later.Then on the next day sat 25th july 2015, [protected] & [protected] they called back and a male named (probably false name) virat singh told so many things regarding tour and policy and convinced me that he is saying truth on which unfortunately i believed and thought to gift my parents a tour on their anniversary. He asked to book the package or else it will get cancelled within 48 hrs so i agreed but while booking they told me that i have to give them the card no. and validity and confirm the otp sent on my mobile then accordingly i did but luckily my mother denied to have rs.5000 in my account so i asked them to cancel the order. But again they convinced me that i can just book the order with rs.999 and the next day i can pay the remaining amount to them so i again believed them and did that transaction of rs.999. After this i got one verification call in which a lady told me that i have to deposit cash worth rs.4000 in any of this 2 banks nearby my place axis bank, pnb as per the bank closer she will give me the account no. so i agreed doing that and they disconnected. After this i tried calling them for about 50-100 times to cancel the order when i realized that something is wrong but it was unreachable then on monday 27-7-15 they called back asking for bank to give details but then i asked them about intimation of previous transanction and also why the numbers were unreachable for which she said that their working hrs are from mon-sat from 11:00am-7:00pm and the one said till 6:00pm then the lady disconnected and sent me a written confirmation letter which made my doubt clear about the fake company that they are none other than frauds on whom i don't know how i believed and then i started searching for that company on true caller id and google and i found this consumer forum complaints which saved me further. thankfully my other 4000rs is saved.Thanks for your information i'm attaching the email here sent by them.
