I had given toshiba satellite u940-x0110 for repair, to toshiba authorised service centre - ensure support services india ltd on 26 june'18 under work order no. Ma/18/01470. Problems was inconsistency in display. Until mid august'18 i did not hear any update from the service centre about the issue. Upon my follow up over past month they informed that the mother board has to be replaced; and the delay in reporting was due to a technician leaving work. I'm unsure why it took 2 months to conclude that the issue was with mother board, and such huge replacement cost will be involved. Ideally service centres identify the issue and give an estimate of the costs, in a week's time (Maximum).in this case, it did not happen. Presently, over past two weeks they have send me mailers to confirm my concurrence/take delivery of laptop. I believe toshiba has a system for time bound issue resolution and reporting. But aforesaid prolonged and negligent approach to service does not give me the confidence that your authorised service centre is doing the job; and the customer is in safe hands.
