Complainant Name: Ashwani Kumar Mobile No.: [protected]/[protected] Email: [protected]@gmail.com I bought 39 inch LED TV, Model No. 39P2305ZE from (the then authorized dealer of Toshiba) M/s Ashoka Corporation on May 04, 2014, Ambala Cantt with a comprehensive 3 year warranty. Following are the bill details: i) Date: May 04, 2014 ii) Bill No.: 6667 iii) Amount: Rs.33900/- iv) Name on the bill: Ashwani Kumar (Complainant name) In Aug 2016, black lines started appearing on the screen. When the problem prevailed, I made a complaint to Toshiba Call Center having Complaint No. TIPLSR9H0034150 on Sept 21, 2016. The service engineer, visited my home and took the TV with himself and charged Rs.550/- with some field cash receipt having Bill No. 2773. After few days, he returned the TV and assured us that the formalities have been done and I will receive the communication from the Company after Diwali i.e. Oct 30, 2016. In the process, I misplaced the original bill, but I got a xerox copy from the dealer. But I got no intimation from the company. But when I again called the call center, I was told that my complaint has been rejected as the the bill details were not clear. I again lodged the complaint on Dec 01, 2016, Complaint No. TIPLSRZH0000942. After few days, I got a call from Toshiba again stating that the dealer details are not clear. I once again lodged the complaint having Complaint No.TIPLSRZH0010439 and gave Dealer's Mobile No. i.e. [protected] and landline no. i.e.[protected] to the customer care executive and asked him to cross verify the details if there's any discrepancy.
